Picked it up again months later (maybe almost a year later).
This book may or not work for you, I think it has strong premises, it has a clear vision and helpful instructions.
Some exercises can seem too easy to do, almost insignificant, I found myself thinking 'Bah, I'll find another moment to do this, looks cheesy even'
I was wrong.
It begins with things that may seem simple enough, but it helps that you work on them from the beginning, because the further you go in the book, the most you'll take from it if you have done the previous exercises correctly.
I have had a clarity moment with this book that is helping me a lot, and it's not because the book told me what to feel or how to act, like other books be like 'Don't stress, be kind to yourself, etc', but because it gave me THE TOOLS to work with myself.
Plenty recommend to anyone looking to work with their core beliefs, past experiences, big feelings and their self image. This book works best if you have the time and energy to get involved with the exercises.

Picked up this book randomly when shopping for books and I am intrigued from the start. The chapters are short, concepts are put across in a simple way. It’s a book I see myself coming back to again and again.
A reminder to all, to spend your energy to take care of yourself the right way, (rather than wasting them to be defensive, playing the power game etc) so that you can show up with capacity to interact authentically with the world.

Ich fand es äußerst lehrreich und interessant. Muss aber zugeben, dass ich die Übungen nicht durchgeführt habe, aber durchgelesen habe ich mir alles. Ich fand es auch sehr spannend sich selbst und auch Bekannte oder Freunde in den verschiedenen beschriebenen Verhaltensmustern wiederzufinden.
Das Buch motivierte zumindest mich an mir selbst zu arbeiten, vor allem im Bezug auf Zwischenmenschliches.
