Absolutely life changing for someone who suffers with debilitating anxiety/panic/intrusive thought spirals like I do.

Really enjoyed this book, if you suffer from intrusive thoughts this shows you how to look at them differently. This book is really good if you have anxiety as well because anxiety fuels these thoughts. My therapist recommended this and it helps you understand why you have the thoughts you do. It teaches you that thoughts are not facts! Just because you have an intrusive thought doesn’t make it true or mean it’s going to happen. I’m trying to channel my wise mind now and practice it!

This book is fantastic. It’s a great resource for clinicians, advocates, and those who struggle with unwanted intrusive thoughts. It’s specific in examples which can be difficult to hear, but oh so helpful in battling these thought processes. The author breaks down ideas very well. It’s a must for combating these thought processes!
