I'm so disappointed in this. I loved this series when it first came out, and honestly, Succubus Revealed is nothing like what this series started out to be. I used to like Georgina. I used to think she was strong, determined, and fun, then she met Seth. Since then she's been simpering, boring, and mopey. I'm one of the people in the camp that does not care for Seth at all, so to see the main character so completely obsessed with him is almost nauseating at times. The quest to find out more about Georgina's past that has been hinted at throughout is finally solved here, and it is oh, so, stupid. Let's start at the beginning.

This novel starts out with Georgina finding out she has been transferred to Las Vegas. Oh no! Not away from Seth! How will she go on?!?! Before we even get to arrive at that little tidbit though there is plenty of mundane daily life at a crappy job, dialogue that I'm sure is supposed to be cute and quirky with the supernatural gang, but is really just sappy and irritating, and a bit of demon bowling. I mean really, the actual substance in this could be written on two pages. Every other page is Georgina complaining, or supernatural friends trying to tell her what is going on while she is completely dense. So she is told she is getting transferred, and thinks, that's it, it's completely over with Seth, which I find completely silly. A few events unfold that make it ridiculously obvious what is going on, but of course Georgina doesn't get it, and won't listen to friends about it. I don't know how this is even a novel really. Ever series out there starts to stagnate and turns into overly long daily conversations with a little bit of something thrown in to make it publishable. It's just not good enough, and it's a sad end to this series. I would go so far as to call this fluff it is so pointless, but I'm getting ranty, better pull back.

Basically, if you liked this series, definitely read this. There are answers to be had and happy endings abound. If you are expecting a kick butt succubus, or some wild Vegas fun, well, don't. This mostly just a closing to tie everything up in a nice little bow. There is a drunken Santa, a Vegas show, and a vampire assassin, but don't get excited they only appear for a few pages, really aren't that important, and are completely forgotten about by the author. I don't know why I'm even giving this three stars, it doesn't deserve it.

I thought this was a fitting end to this series. I liked how things were wrapped up. I suspected certain things (like Seth's past) and it was nice to have that confirmed. I always enjoy the interactions between Georgina and her friends and there were some great ones in this book. I especially love the Georgie/Carter scenes. He has always been one of my favorite characters and I have always suspected that there was more to his mission and his interest in her than he let on. It was nice to also have that confirmed. This series has had its highs and lows for me, but it did end on a high and for that I am glad. I like when series don't go on forever with no end in sight. This one had a definite arc and it played out well. Good job Richelle Mead!

Enjoyed this series, interesting twist in this one. I'll miss Georgina (and Seth).

Great ending to the series. The characters have all grown and make their choices accordingly. Sometimes this is frustrating but overall well done.

I enjoyed the humor randomly thrown init lightened many of the intense scenes.

I am so so sad because this was the final book in this series, I honestly could keep reading about these characters forever. But I am so happy because Seth and Georgina FINALLY got their happy ending! However, I really hope that maybe one day we find out what really happened to Roman (what a great novella that would be!). I do need to read City of Demons and will be adding it to my TBR list!

Despite how much this series started off as some strictly hellish series, I turned out to not be that at all. I was beginning to think that I was a had changed into a completely different person because of the books that I read, more than just this series, but many others too. I completely whizzed through this series and now I'm feeling a bit down that it's over.

Seth - Seth made me love him for his quarkiness, passion of writing, love for Georgina, patients, calmness, and so much more. He was so understanding for so much of his relationship with Georgina. But, Seth also made me hate him for giving in to Niphon's manipulations, having a relationship with Maddie, and just screwing things up in so many ways.

Roman - I so wanted Roman to find some sort of happy ending. I had a feeling it wouldn't happen, but still. I knew that he really did love Georgina. He continued to risk so much for her. Despite his initial craziness, he was a good person. He seriously saved Georgina in so many ways. If something had happened to Seth, I would have been happy with her having Roman. It would have been easy.

Jerome - I don't know why throughout all of this I expected him to show that he wasn't such a hellish demon, but really, what can I expect. I thought that he'd really be there for Georgina when she needed him. I thought that in some ways he liked her and he would have shown it in some way. She freakin saved his life for goodness sake when no one else would. But honestly, you couldn't trust him from start to finish. How sad.

Bastian - Georgina could have been happy in some ways with him too. I loved him through and through. There's just something about accents that I can't get enough of. I loved her relationship/friendship with him.

Carter - From the start, I knew he had some sort of hidden agenda and I was quick to think that it was bad and that he'd eventually fall or something. Turns out I was completely wrong, just like Georgina. He was there just for her the entire time. He was sweet, caring, helpful when he could. It made me smile so much with what he did for Seth's family.

Georgina - It's like everything continued to come at her from every different angle. I would have thought that eventually people would stop questioning her and stop minimizing the things that happened. Well that was mostly Jerome so what can I expect really? He could have saved himself a lot of trouble if he'd listened. But no. Georgina's story ended up being filled with powerful emotions, love, loss, sacrifice, forgiveness, regret, and so much more. I was amazed how much I enjoyed her story because I heard it was confusing. I didn't feel confused very much at all, but even when I was, I didn't mind. I loved how at times I didn't pull clues together until she explained it but at other times, right before she figured something out, I figured it out too. It was a powerful journey. I can only hope to evoke that much emotion from the characters of my series. I loved how everything continued to link together. In the end everything came together as I'd hoped it might. I couldn't believe it when it came to Seth being hypnotized that
Spoilerit was the same person every time Georgina fell in love. It was so crazy! I hadn't expected him to wake up so abruptly and lash out the way that he did. I cried as Georgina did. But it wouldn't have done the book justice if it hadn't happened that way. I'm glad they finally forgave one another and everything fell into place in the end. I love a happy ending. Everything happened as it should.

I started reading this series years ago, and I have no idea why it took me so long to get to the finale. While I enjoying the novel overall, I think it is partially due to the earlier books that built my connection to the characters. On its own, this story was fairly disappointing, but as a conclusion to the series, it really delivered what I, as a reader, wanted/expected. As an earlier reviewer noted, this book didn't really have much plot to propell it on its own. Also, it didn't really answer some of the questions that arose from the situation (how did it all actually happen? WHY did it happen?). The ending was foreshadowed in the earlier books but there wasn't much in THIS book to explain it. We were just expected to take it for what it was. It happened, move on.

Once again, I feel like this series could be so much better if you chopped off 20-50 pages per book. Overall, I saw the end coming from the last book but it was still nice to see the particulars.

Georgina is transferred to Vegas without asking for it, which is somewhat suspiscious.
Ties the ends that needed to be tied, a satisfying ending. The whole series is quite nice - better IMO than Vampire Academy.
