I received a copy of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
Juniper Lemon is dealing with the death of her sister by trying to keep her memory alive. The main character, Juniper is written so well, the grief she's feeling is almost real. The romance wasn't too in your face as a lot of YA books seem to be lately, I could see it coming from the start, but it wasn't the main theme of the book, which I liked. I did feel as if everything was wrapped up a little too well, all except for who actually is You? I suppose that's the point in the ending though, it doesn't really matter who You is, Juniper has accepted the fact that she will most likely never know. One thing I wasn't the biggest fan of was just how often Juniper gets herself involved in other people's drama, in the beginning it's almost as if she's trying to keep a low profile.
4/5 stars

A gloriously happy and slightly tearful read. This book is an ode to sisters everywhere, but also friendship, meeting new people, discovering new things, dealing with loss and family. I just loved it, and give it a solid 4.5 stars.
I really liked Juniper, the way she was trying to honour her sister really spoke to me. I love her and Brand too, as well as her friendships with Kody, Angela and Nate. And I am so desperate to see her art projects, they sound amazing!!
Like Juni, I was totally shipping Angela and Sponge, and I love how that turned out lol. I do get the moral of not messing around too badly and also that possibly digging through the rubbish and accidentally (or sometimes not) finding secrets isn’t necessarily a good idea, but I do love the concept.
This is uplifting in a way I didn’t expect, and bittersweet for obvious reasons, and just really touching.

This book was great. The characters felt real and the storyline was unique. Can't believe this was Julie Israel's debut, but I am excited to read anything she writes next.

A grief book with romance. The cover is adorable and I really liked the way the author dealt with a sister coping with her sister's death and trying to figure out a secret love that sister was keeping from everyone. It could have been a 5 star, but I wasn't a big fan of the ending.

What I liked:
The first half of the book
The friendships!
Brand.
SpoilerAt least until after the New Year's chapter. Then, he just seemed to do a 360 and was almost scary angry.

What I didn't like:
The second half of the book left me wanting more, as well as the family scenes.
SpoilerI wished we'd had found out who You was and to get a scene when Juniper finds out.

I really did enjoy this book. The story behind it is sad but other than that, it makes for a really great read. The book follows the story of Juniper and her way of dealing with her sister, Camilla's death.

The only downside to this book was the fact that I struggled to keep interested at times.

I'd definitely recommend this book!

Such a good book!... I really enjoyed this...

It tackles quite a delicate subject in an original way, it's written very well and flows at a good pace... I also like the idea of the index cards and the use of positives and negatives

Juniper was such a relatable character, and the secondary characters were all pretty cool too, I really did like Brand

Why the mark down?...
The big mystery really frustrated me... both the 'secret' on the index card and the identity of You, and to top it all off we didn't even get to find out who You was!!! (I still think it was the teacher ;)

Also, what was the big deal with Junipers mother and Lauren?

So yeah, 4 stars, the ending made me happy :D
