I started off thinking this would be super cute cause I love friends to lovers. But the storyline just didn’t flow very well. And Dallas became very overbearing and unattractive so ew.

I love this series. Would love to go to Katie’s Kitchen and hang out with this friend group. Can’t wait to see where the next book takes us!

An amazing friends to lovers romance set in the Midnight in Dallas universe that finally sees Katie and Dallas explore their feelings for one another.

I absolutely loved getting to see these two friends admit their long-held attraction and figure out what being there for one another looks like. Katie in particular leans on Dallas as she struggles to find a diagnosis for the chronic pain she's been experiencing and Dallas works through what being a supportive partner looks like.

The author did SUCH a great job writing about how difficult it can be for women especially to find doctors willing to listen to their health concerns without being overly dismissive. Katie is lucky in this book to get a diagnosis relatively early but her anxiety and self-doubt about whether it was all in her head was all too relatable.

This could be read as a standalone book but there are lots of cameos from past characters and it would be better enjoyed having read the other books in this series first (plus they're all great so you can't go wrong). I'm so excited to see what's next for this close-knit found family and especially see Luca get his HEA!

Many thanks to the author for sharing an advanced copy of her book in exchange for my honest review!! I was beyond grateful for the opportunity to be an early reader as a forever fan and couldn't read this book fast enough!! It satisfied all my hopes for two of my favorite characters in the series.

⚠️CW: chronic pain, medical gaslighting, MS diagnosis

Thanks for the ARC, Melissa Grace!

This is another beautiful novel in the Midnight in Dallas series. This book follows Katie & Dallas. Katie is struggling with an undiagnosed chronic illness and no one seems to know how to help her. Dallas is struggling with no longer being in a band. The friend group is all moving on and everything seems to be falling apart.

Together they decide they can do so much better. I love all the pieces of this book. From the integration of the characters from her previous books to the building up of a character for her next book (hopefully!)

This book is emotional, heart-warming, and left me smiling year to year.

Out: June 6th

Thanks Melissa Grace for the ARC!

Feels Like Home is the fourth installment of the Midnight in Dallas series. It follows Katie and Dallas and is such a cute story! This rom-com has all the best parts… banter, a dash of spice, and all the feels.

You might like this book if…
• You’re looking for a book with chronically ill representation. Katie, our FMC, suffers from a condition that causes her to be chronically ill. Melissa Grace handles it beautifully throughout the whole book.
• You like to laugh out loud while reading. The pedicure scene? I couldn’t stop laughing!

Representation matters. Whether that is race, gender, sexual identity, or any other facet of human existance, being able to see characters like yourself in books and movies and TV is so incredibly powerful. And this book had it!

Not only did this book feature a character with a chronic invisible illness, but it also showcased her journey to diagnosis and learning how to live after diagnosis. And the way Katie was treated by the medical community at first was appalling and completely realistic on how women are treated. I think every woman has experienced at least a touch of the sexist undertones in medical care. I can only imagine how magnified it must be for those with chronic illness as they fight for a diagnosis!

This book is about found family. About learning to rely on others when you need it, and how sometimes being strong for yourself means asking for help. Its about friendship and love and the power of the human spirit. And there is spice. Of course. Because everyone deserves love and really great spice in their life!

I absolutely loved this story. We FINALLY get Katie and Dallas and I am so glad *SPOILERS* that they get together fairly early in the story. We have seen them pine for so long, the idea of them pining for longer than 20% of the book just wouldn't be as good. I loved the way their relationship developed as Dallas tried to figure out what to do as Katie really explored how to set her boundaries as she navigates her medical diagnosis. The friend group is to die for and it makes me sad that they are all starting to spread out.

I love this series so much! I am so grateful that I got a chance to read an early eARC of Feels Like Home. Melissa is an amazing writer & really helps the reader feel the emotions that her characters are experiencing. I love that this novel tells Katie & Dallas’ story! Their spark has been there & simmering for a whiiiiiiiile.

Feels like Home, the fourth book in Melissa Grace’s Midnight in Dallas universe. Even though this can be read as a standalone, reading the first three books in the series is very helpful (they are very, very good!).

I’ve always loved Katie in the first books of the series, and I’m so glad we got her friends-to-lovers story with Dallas, the former drummer of Midnight in Dallas. Katie and Dallas were both in crossroads moments in their lives, with the future of the bakery in flux and Dallas trying to figure out his future beyond his band. Both characters have long cared for each other as friends and didn’t want to risk losing each other if they went for more. I devoured this book in less than 24 hours and really enjoyed their story. It is worth noting that you will want to take the author’s note/CWs with great care. This book follows a journey of chronic pain/illness and the emotional toll of seeking a diagnosis.

Thank you to the author for an advanced copy

I knew this one would be my favorite, but damn! Dallas and Katie are perfect. I don’t want to leave this world when the series is over!
