DID NOT FINISH: 28%

1) He is fully focused on nose breathing and so far seems to think mouth breathers are doomed. I should have bad skin (my bestie at Sephora would like a word), not be able to sleep at night (okay, sometimes, but anxiety 🙃), and be in poor health (running another 5K next weekend). 2) A lot of the studies he cites used unethical methods. 3) He completely ignores Katharina Schroth's other developed techniques (including the pulley system!) to make it seem like she improved scoliosis using only breathing techniques. 4) Uses BMI data to support the whole "America is obese" hypothesis despite experts saying BMI is inaccurate.

The book gave me a lot to think about. I learned much, but I also think it could have been said with less words. I liked, that it wasn't just informative, but mixed with storytelling. But I found it to much story, why it took me a long time to finish the book. I don't think it is perfect, but I would still recommend it to everyone. Every person will learn something and think at least least Al little different about breathing.

This was fascinating! I'll definitely be trying some of the breathing exercises

Very interesting read about different breathing techniques, but I think at times over emphasises the importance of breathing over other health aspects
