**I received a copy of Knuckle Down from Net Galley in exchange for a voluntary and honest review**

Knuckle Down is the second book in Ms. Fernando's Cursed Ravens MC series. If I were to compare Wind Dragon's vs.Cursed Ravens MC it would be a toss up because they are both equally good. This is Knuckle and Celina's story and I give it a high 4.8 stars.

Celina who happens to be Erin's cousin from the first book is a gifted journalists looking for a story within the Ravens clubhouse. When she meets Knuckles a single dad of two girls the attraction between the two is a bit frosty but he knows that he can win her heart. There will be misunderstanding that will bring them back together once again. As well as a young girl who the Raven's take in while their brother is in jail who'll try to take someone precious from Knuckle and Celina.

Jack "Knuckle" Chester is the Sergeant at Arms for the Cursed Ravens but when he meets Celina at her cousin's party he just knows that she is the one for him. First she has to pass his daughter's test of meeting her before he goes any farther and of course Celina's three dogs need to meet everyone also. When an article is published without her knowledge they will step away until she finds out that her boss is now being sued for publishing it. But all in all Knuckle and Celina will follow their hearts and become the family that both of them want so much.

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. This is the second in the Cursed Ravens MC series and I will say that I liked this so much more than the first. However I need to make a little note about the first; I was halfway though this book when I realized who Clover from the first book was. Talk about a DUH moment.

Jack “Knuckles” Chester is a single father and the sergeant at arms for the Cursed Ravens Motorcycle Club which means he has little free time. On top of that he has some issues when it comes to women thank to his ex. When he first sees Erin's cousin Celina he like what he see but he has to convince her of that.

Celina is a journalist and very good at her job. She does have a sleazy ex and her boss leaves a lot to be desired as well.  She sees the MC as a great story but she in't use to the whole family vibe they have going on. Apart from her cousin Celina never really had that.  As she and Knuckles get closer she evaluates her story idea.

The climax was so unexpected and such a wonderful surprise. I loved it! It brought everything together in a way that made you melt. It also set you up nicely for the next book. I would love if Erin's dad got his own book or maybe Clover got with one of the guys. Just saying!

Knuckles girls are so cute! They embrace Celina is a way that she isn't use to. From the moment they meet her they are attached and so is she. My one dislike about this book was Knuckles' ex which is probably a good thing. She was one of those women who always thinks her man is cheating and then when he moves on she becomes this petty **tch. Like I said it was probably good that I didn't like her. This review was originally posted on A Lucky Grace

So good!

I so love Knuckles’ and Celina’s. It was full of both calm and drama; the perfect mix. Can’t wait to read more from this author!

I received an ARC from Netgalley. This is the second book in Chantal Fernando's Cursed Ravens series. I read and adored her first MC Club series the Wind Dragons. This second series hasn't disappointed. Knuckle Down started off great and ended even better. Celina was a good mix of bad ass and vulnerability. Knuckles is every woman's dream man. Tall, dark, and handsome and an awesome father. I was rooting for them the whole time. I can't wait for Rogue's story.

I received a digital copy of Knuckle Down from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. The following review contains opinions that are mine and mine alone.

I was honestly in love with Knuckles the Cursed Ravens’ Sergeant in Arms in Ace of Hearts and I was overly excited to learn that he was next in line to receive his own story ( there was squealing) and I quickly made the request to review as soon as I saw the listing go up on NetGalley.

I had some worries about pairing Knuckles with Erin’s journalist cousin, Celina, since journalists and bikers totally go well together, right? Ha. I just knew that our sweet and amazing Knuckles was in for a rough time of it. But I buckled my seat belt and prepared for the ride. No, really. I read this on the way to the medical centre for my MRI scans. I buckled up, my mum’s not a Sunday driver. Knuckles and Celina work, they have a bumpy journey, but Knuckles isn’t your stereotypical biker and Celina isn’t your stereotypical journalist. And that’s what makes this work, thankfully. I’d have been heartbroken if Knuckles didn’t get a HEA.

Knuckles is enamoured of his bestie’s cousin, Celina, the moment he sets eyes on her at Erin’s birthday party. He politely bulldozes his way through the roadblocks Celina’s erected to keep all men at bay since her disastership with her workmate and Celina recognises that yes, she likes Knuckles and she’s letting her past relationship and her daddy issues cloud her vision when it comes to Knuckles. We also see Knuckles letting his past relationship with his daughters’ mother cloud his relationship with Celina a few times. If nothing else, we do learn that open communication is important, right?

From the very beginning of the story we see Celina having an internal struggle between her journalistic drive and her morals. Should she use her family connection to the Cursed Ravens MC to get an all-access pass to write a front-page story or not? She even tries to reason that if it's a positive story on the MC, it'd be okay. Can I have some of whatever she's on? We see this tug of war go back and forth for a good portion of the book, and it only gets worse as her relationship with Knuckles progresses. Be forewarned, this storyline will frustrate you and you will be tempted to pull your hair out.

I loved the bit we saw of Celina's best friend, Akeira, she reminded me of my sister and that's always a good thing. No filter and a taste for adventure. I wish there'd been more of her!

I was a bit disappointed that Knuckles didn’t get a more action-packed story for being an enforcer but I’m also glad he got a more emotional story because it showed him as more than a stereotyped biker. Oh, look at me. I learned something. Ha. I’m kidding, y’all.

I loved how Knuckles was always a gentleman towards Celina, never invading her personal space except when they were flirting, and it was still done respectfully. No groping! Even when they’re playing chase at the beach in bathing suits, Knuckles doesn’t grab Celina inappropriately. I was just so proud of him. Don’t judge me.

Knuckles, along with his two daughters, Willow and Westley, quickly become regular fixtures in Celina’s home. It’s a normal occurrence for Knuckles to bring the girls over for dinner and a movie. While she’s consciously still fighting the lasting relationship aspect of their relationship, Celina’s already acting maternal towards the girls. You might as well just give them keys, honey.

The big event at the end really freaked the living tar out of me, readers. I actually had to take a moment to just breathe – both times I read it! I can’t tell y’all about it, because spoilers and all, but eesh, it made me thank the deities my momma is my momma. Long story and it'd be a bit of a spoiler. But y'all,

I had a lot of laughs reading Knuckle Down, and I even reread it because I enjoyed it the first time through. I don’t like rereading books within the first year because I’ve got a photographic memory and I loathe déjà vu. But I reread Knuckle Down and it was totally worth it. Because I took notes! Don't expect that to happen again, it was so constrictive and I couldn't knit while I read. So annoying.

Overall, I'm giving Knuckle Down a 4 out of 5 stars and 2 flames for the sexy times. Although, that one scene on the stairs had my friend and I both hoping Celina has some good insurance for a chiropractor!

Knuckles was one of my favorite characters in the first Cursed Ravens book, so I was excited to dig into his story. It doesn't disappoint. He's aware of his sex appeal and doesn't care to point it out, but he's not over the top arrogant about it. He's also completely unfiltered and has a wit about him that I absolutely love. Celina is his opposite in almost everything. She's straight-laced and emotionally closed off. She does voice her opinion, which of course, often differs from Knuckles' and their resulting banter is witty and fun. As with the first book in the series, we don't get the down and dirty details of the MC. The book is more about the feeling of family and personal interactions of the group. The drama is obvious, even before it happens, but the focus of the story is in the developing relationship between Knuckles and Celina. I loved how their romance develops as they move toward a happy medium with their differing lifestyles. All in all, another entertaining, fun read from this author.

I think I might like this one better than the first book in the series.

When I found out Knuckle Down was about a single dad in the MC AND written by one of my favorites, I FREAKED out. I love Chantal's MC books and this one was no different. You can probably guess that whenever the kids popped up were my favorite parts, and the dogs. 😄 I can't wait to read Rogue's story!! I have a feeling it'll be an emotional one.

This review was originally posted on Addicted To RomanceI received this book for free from Pocket in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Knuckle Down is the second book in this MC series by Fernando and I really liked it, although not my favorite from this author. I wasn't sure how I would feel about this book, since journalist/reporter heroines aren't my favorites and so I was curious to see how Fernando would handle this type of character since most authors never handle them that way I like. I will say that it wasn't quite as bad I was expecting, since there is a certain story line that comes from a journalist/reporter character. But let me lay out the story out for you.

Celina is a journalist and she is looking for a front page story, she is good at what she does, and she likes being able to be the voice to help others when its needed. And it is her passion. So when her cousin has a birthday part at the MC  that her father and man are a part of, Celina is invited and she thinks that this is the perfect opportunity to get an inside look to do a feature. But then she drawns the eye of "Knuckle", a man who is divorced and raising two girls, but is very involved in the MC. Celina has had to close herself off because of her profession, but Knuckle is the first man to make her want to open her heart but doing so might have dangerous consequences.

I really liked having Knuckles book, because he is one of my favorite characters. He is a bit of a bad boy, but deep down he is such a great hero. He is strong, capable, a sweet dad and boy the way he is with his girls is so sweet. I mean he sings Disney songs.....yeah me heart caved because of the hero. The complication with Celina wasn't quite as bad as I was thinking. And I was really relieved that it wasn't handled in the typical way you normally see in romance when you have a heroine that is a journalist. But it did have the "secret" element that I didn't like.

I found the dynamics to their love story quite endearing. There was this sense of chemistry that was powerful, you feel it from the beginning, but we also get to the heart of the relationship and seeing Celina face up to her past and seeing Celina battle with herself and coming to terms with what she has become and what kind of life she wants where love changes her and opens her up to new things and ways of looking at life differently.

I found Knuckle Down to be charming, engaging and a sweet yet wild ride that you find in a MC love tale!!

ARC received for an honest review

Oh. My. Knuckles!

I adored you as Erin's "best friend" in Ace of Hearts, but now I have a full blown crush on you!

And if you have read the first book, you will remember Celina, Erin's cousin? She's older than Erin, but in some ways she feels younger.

And when the biker and the journo meet - well, things don't go the way either of them expect, but boy is is better than anything either wanted.

A journalist and a biker together -yeah, you can see the conflict between them coming a mile away, however it was not what I expected it was going to be.

A single dad, Knuckles really is all kinds of swoonworthy when he is with his girls. I mean... le sigh. You need to look past the kutte and the rumours about bikers to get to the real man.

I love the push/pull between Celina and Knuckles- well, him pushing for more, and Celina pulling away lol. There is such a spark between them that you can't help but want them to get more.

Was great to get more of the Cursed Ravens MC, loved seeing where Erin and Ace were at in their relationship, and I neeeeeed to know more about Rogue/

ASAP.

Can't wait for Going Rogue - even though it is only a few weeks away, it is too far away!

Gimme gimme gimme!
