Full of tips and insightful knowledge Matt Haig has written this book from an honest and deeply personal perspective. Filled with useful tips from his own experiences. A crucial lesson is to appreciate what we have. Planet earth is a unique place. We should value what we have, stop for a moment and simply be happy.

Extremely long winded and feels forced to being novel length - emphasized by the very short chapter lengths and excessive use of spacing pages. Feels very preach and try - hard, could have been a tweet

I found myself nodding and underlining my way through this book. The author's take on technology and it's place in our culture is one that I definitely agree with. I really liked this little book and I recommend it to anyone looking for a calming and soothing explanation about some reasons why we may all be feeling so anxious and distracted.

An honest and emotional view at how the modern world affects our mental and physical health. This book shows that we’re not alone in our feelings and makes you feel heard. I think a lot of people could benefit from reading this book, with our constant online lives everyone needs a break now and then

I love the formatting of the book too, it shows lists, tips & recommendations, short chapters etc

While you might not agree with everything in here or love every single chapter, I think everyone can find something in here to relate to
