This was such a quick, fun, spicy best friend’s dad, mafia romance and I really loved that Natalia’s character was unlike the female characters from other mafia romances in that she actually said what she wanted to and stood by it. Christian was basically the epitome of a mafia man, strong, powerful, and ruthless, but even he couldn’t resist the chemistry between the two of them. I loved the chemistry between these two and I could not get enough of it.

Kylie Stewart and Tor Thom were amazing in this audiobook!

When I first started reading this, I wasn't sure if this book was for me. It was the whole best friend's dad trope that had me so unsure. Then I got reading and I was totally sucked in! A sexy mafia romance with a lot of spice. I love Charity's writing style and the humour that she injects into the story. Natalia was witty and ballsy. Christian was a psycho mafia boss intent on not falling for Natalia and for their marriage to be purely transactional, a way to keep her safe. I loved Natalia! She was cocky and didn't take any of Cristian's crap when he was being a dick to her. He really frustrated me at times, like this part here:

"“My men are staring at you.” I jerk forward when my sunglasses are ripped off my face. Adjusting my eyes, I find Cristian standing at my side. His head is bowed as he icily stares at me, as if I’d dropped all his bar carts off at Goodwill. “So are you.” I retrieve my sunglasses, shove them back onto my face, and dramatically recline back into the lounge chair."

Because she was wearing a bikini! Like, come on dude, how is that her fault? Go tell them to stop staring at her then!

As frustrating as he could be, bit by bit, I warmed up to Cristian. He had some redeeming qualities and I loved how fiercely protective he became of Natalia and how fiercely he loved her.

This was a brilliant read! A mafia romance is happily read again!

The pacing was weird and it took a while to get into the characters, but I had a good time readying it and Daddy Cristian can fuckin get it.

Me gusto mucho este libro!

This was an entertaining read. I hadn’t read a mafia romance in a while and it didn’t disappoint. It’s got all the right vibes and the best friend’s father is a different twist. He didn’t watch her grow up, or really interact with her pre-legal adulthood, so it didn’t have that weird factor.

I wasn’t a big fan of how quickly Natalia folded to Cristian. I wanted more push back to him giving her no say in what was going to happen with her life moving forward. She said she wasn’t going to marry him or be with him, but turns around and is okay with everything so fast.

It had its funny moments and did tick the dark and gritty boxes I wanted.

Gorgeous Monster started really strongly the Marchetti Mafia Series. Mafia romances are my weakness and this this one didn't disapoint. The illicit aspect of this love story between Natalia and her best friend's dad, Cristian, was a bonus to my already enthusiasm over the age gap romance trope.

Natalia had such a sassy personality, so opposite of Cristian who was so callous and unapologetic. They started their relationship on the wrong path, but the sizzling chemistry was instantly palpable. I'll admit that Cristian was a lot to take in at first. He was so detached and cruel; a true mafia king. I enjoyed watching his hard shell crumble a little while sharing his time with the much younger woman. Natalia had truly a death wish at time, always provoking the man, but it was also so entertaining to witness.

The intrigue of the book was interesting and the story fast paced. There wasn't a dull moment! Suspense, action, steamy encounters, even funny one-liners made this read so amazing. I definitely can't wait for the next novel in line in the series, [b:Gorgeous Prince|63881735|Gorgeous Prince (Marchetti Mafia #2)|Charity Ferrell|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1669661542l/63881735._SX50_.jpg|98561816]. I need more of Benny and his lucky lady!

At first, when I started this book, I wasn’t expecting much because the writing felt superficial and not deep enough, but as I kept reading, I found the characters to be interesting and have depth to them. I like how Christian’s character was able to evolve and acknowledge his feelings for Natalia but in a normal way. a lot of times in books the main character goes from being so cold and not loving anyone to being head over heels, and that just sounds so unrealistic, but Christian’s development throughout the story is realistic and shows how his feelings developed for his wife. Additionally this book is Hella spicy and I liked that although there was a ton of spice the whole plot wasn’t just smut and there was a balance between the two.
