Wow. I knew Fiona Cole could write emotional, tortured characters and their heartbreaking journeys to recovery, but I didn't know she could write angst like this. Blame It on the Tequila is a masochistic slow burn with emotion and heat that jumps off every page. I was sucked in from the prologue and held captive until the very last sentence. Every time I thought I knew what was going to happen, Cole spun me in a completely new direction. I had no choice but to throw my hands up and enjoy the ride, and what a heck of a ride it was! My favorite part of the story was seeing how their attraction grew as teenagers. There's just something about that time in our lives that I never get enough of! I love the hormonal rage, the angst of miscommunication and misfired signals, and the obsession with one another. Party dance scene... ENOUGH SAID! *fans self*

My new favorite Fiona Cole book and an absolute thrill for angst lovers, Blame It on the Tequila is a gripping romance you can't miss this summer!

I never wrote a review for this book because I couldn't come up with the words for how amazing it is. almost 6 months later and I still can't stop thinking about it. Read it, you will love it!

Can you say Angsty?! I read the blurb on this and thought it sounded intriguing. I'm not a fan of books that jump back to the past from the present even when it's piecing the story together. It's not because I want to get to the point faster, but it takes a bit more thinking to assimilate all the missing pieces into the person you already know.

I liked Parker, and his band mates. I was right there with Nova when the past was reveled to the reader and made as a wet hen but also understanding that is the thinking of youth in an unknown situation.

Clearly Nova hadn't dealt with her past in a functional manner and I'm slightly frustrated at both sets of parents. Even at the end. I would have liked to know the final kiss off with those relationships even though I'm sure they were spectacular (in my mind).

Highly recommend for the sexual tension alone. I could feel it emanating from the pages as I read about Parker and Nova. Good story and I suppose it was more sexual tension verses angst, so I would read again. Or find out what happens to Rae in the next story. I'm sure Parker and Nova will make cameos.

... well I mean, isnt Tequilla always a little bit to blame? Nova and Parker have a complicated history, but they had never gotten those feelings out so of course a little drunken mayhem ensues. I loved that it took longer for Nova to realize her mistakes than Parker. The way he owned up to past mistakes was commendable and conveyed alot of growth on his part. I loved how Nova conquered her fears. I wanted to yell at fictional characters so bad, they were so frustrating either misunderstanding each other or just not getting their point across at all. Nova was especially frustrating with all her walls Parker needed to get through to her heart. I loved the entire band. And OMG was this book HOT! Not just the volley back and forth but the chemistry between them was delicious! This is a great weekend read! And we get to see Nico and Vera from Blame it on the Champagne!

hmm

so close yet so far for me. the good stuff was good but overall read like a cheesy fanfiction which i’m not a fan of anymore and also wtf just gonna slip in nova being the victim of a serial killer and gloss over it ?!?!?!
