WARNING SLIGHT SPOILERS.

I admit I was probably not the right audience for this book. I usually despise romcom movies finding them stupidly unrealistic with shallow characters. But this book popped up in my recommendations and I thought maybe it would be better in book form?
I was wrong. It has the exact same problems the movies have as well and the plot holes in the “story”, if you can call it that, are huge. For example the Lucian has been asleep long enough to not be able to use a modern gun but he apparently has a bank account that he somehow, despite it being inactive for so long still has no problem accessing. There are many other problems that are just glossed over for the sake of the romance. Which I could overlook if said romance was interesting but really there didn’t seem to be anything holding them together except for the bond, I didn’t feel any real chemistry between them. And finally there was Vlad. I thought he was supposed to be Vlad the Impaler (He always talks about wanting to torture humans) but then he suddenly talks about how he used to be a prostitute. It was confusing. And he just wasn’t funny to me.
Again I’m probably the wrong audience for this type of book. If you’re looking for a sweet romance to swoon to, this book might be right for you. For me I need the plot around the romance to make some sense I can’t help but see the plot holes.

It is a good love story and it has two or three really funny spots but it's not so funny who some people mean, anyway for me. That doesn't mean it's a bad book. I loved it. I like that the chapters switch between both perspectives. It is thrilling and sentimental

I had a heard time staying grounded in the story. I wanted more from the characters, and by a certian point i realize I was not concerned with how'd it end.

Ok is kinda of silly but I really enjoyed the reading it wasn't all about sex and the vampire's introduced a new experience for the book, so not only I was excited for the relationship but for what was happening made very excited too.

Cute book- ultimately it is fodder that I fill my time with while I wait for a book release due this week. One that I have been promised since December, but hey, who's counting. (ME- I AM)

The title caught me as well as the blurb- seems really funny. A vampire forced in his bond. But for some reason it didn't really click with me. Humorous but not laugh out loud funny for me.

Yes, some puns were clever, dialogue was witty and the story was fast paced, but it was missing something for me. I didn't get the deep connection between the characters and there certainly were a lot of side characters to keep track of.

Set in Savannah (been there) so I could imagine the spooky house tours, graveyards and vampire haunts.

Tongue in cheek adorable hotness

I know those words shouldn't work together but when describing a Penelope Bloom book, they make the most sense.

Kiss Kiss Fang Fang is the most fun I've had with vampires in a few years. Don't let the greys fool you...I am old. I appreciate vampire stories as much as any teenaged heart throb wannabe. So imagine my enjoyment to find a 30 yr old having a brush with the darkside of life, or is it death!?!

This was a pretty chill read. I liked it, even though I don’t think it needed to be more than 200 pages. It felt dragged out by page 300 seeing as it’s not a complicated story when it came to the plot. It wasn’t the kind of humor to get a “HAHA” out of me but I can’t lie and say it wasn’t entertaining at times. The characters were amusing. It was refreshing reading about vampires who were old but had cringy and quirky personalities. There were times when it felt a bit overdone, though.

I wasn’t feeling it much toward the end, unfortunately. I’m not sure why but I kinda got tired of the story and I honestly think it’s because it should’ve been shorter. I pushed through though. Also, the cover should’ve been her chasing him in my opinion lol. And I need to say, I’m happy the protagonist is thirty, at least! God, I’m trying to get back into vampire books but it’s hard when MCs are always teenagers and a centuries-old bag.

I’m really not sure what happened here. This poor book lacks any sense of life, just dull, shallow characters and a predictable story line. There are some moments with terrible female representation and that’s truly where you lost me. The point of no return.
