In this book we get Angus and Charlotte's points of views. I liked that. I loved Charlotte's courage and willingness to sacrifice, and her determination. I liked the advice Angus's parents gave him. This was a wonderful conclusion to the series, and I didn't want it to end. I look forward to reading more about Aleena and Flynn, which was hinted at in the author's message at the end. Throughout the series I liked how the flashbacks/memories were incorporated. This was a great series, and definitely one that was best read as a whole.

About 99% of the time I am disappointed with the ending of a series. However, this one did not disappoint. I am glad I read it. It was not a hard read, but worth my time. I will probably reread this series over and over when I need a pick me up.

-- free e-book in exchange for honest review --

After getting the 1st book, I couldn't wait to read the next one. but none was available for reviewing or even for purchase as I am residing outside the US. Karey White has generously sent me the Husband Maker set.

Now that Charlotte has realised who she's in love with, she's moved across the country in pursuit of the one she's in love with. But the move proved to be hard, a series of problems arose when she first moved into town, jobless and job applications were rejected. Charlotte persevered and continued her chase for Angus. Could it be too late to make her change his mind? Despite Angus' treatment, Charlotte toughened up and continued with her dream to mend things with Angus.

That trip home swayed her decision to stay and continue the pursuit for Angus, but she felt that she has gone so far and it'll be wasted not to continue. And finally her perseverance paid off and Angus changed his mind about not wanting to be with her. A happy ending for both. Nicely written series, usually the quality may decline but the author has kept it up very well. Would love to read more from the same author.

What a great conclusion to this trilogy! I think we all figured that Angus & Charlotte would get together but it was interesting to see how it played out. Each had to give in a little to make the situation work. It was also interesting to see how it worked away from friends and family, they only had each other (and their jobs). I think they both grew as individuals and realized that all they needed was each other.

great series, one to check out!

I received The Wife Maker in return for an honest review as part of the tour hosted by I Am A Reader. Charlotte has finally figured out why none of the men in her life have worked out she’s in love with her best friend Angus it just took a little longer for her than him. Unfortunately for Charlotte he’s decided to move on taking the fellowship and residency in Kansas City to start over and in hopes of forgetting about her. Determined to win him back Charlotte quits her dream job leaves her friends and family and moves to Kansas City to win him back. She ends up in a dangerous part of town renting a scary apartment to find her tires have been slashed thanks to her brother Angus rides to save her.

Now in a safe place staying with Angus till she can find a new place Charlotte might just be able to find a job and place to live. While she’s determined to stay and prove to him she wants him he’s determined to avoid her every chance not willing to risk being hurt by her and wants her to leave for San Francisco. Charlotte won’t give up even renting an apartment in his complex and taking any job she can get even working as a sous chef making salads and plating desserts. When she lands a job for Hallmark for the holiday it’s the step in the right direction even if it is arts and crafts with kids while their parents shop. Will Charlotte be able to win Angus over? Or is there someone else for each of them in Kansas City?

I’ve loved Charlotte and Angus since the first book secretly hoping that they would be meant for each other. After the last book ended I knew that it was going to come down to these two and hopefully they can get their act’s together and stop denying or facing the truth that they are meant for each other. I like how Charlotte’s family is so supportive of her even though she’s chasing Angus across the country with no job or plans for the future.

The Wife Maker is the third and conclusion to Charlotte’s story about her finding her happy ever after. She’s had her ups and downs but she’s a strong woman willing to risk it all for the man she loves. I love how the story played out it’s so well written it was hard to put down because I just had to know if Charlotte would get the right guy in the end. I was so happy the way The Wife Maker played out that I had tears of joy it was better than I expected and I just loved every moment of it. The author has done a beautiful job creating a perfect conclusion to one of my favorite romance series. I would love to see a spin-off of Aleena or at least her get her own happy ever after since she’s one of my favorite supporting characters. I also really like that the series is in San Francisco and that Charlottes parents live in Fairfield which is right where we live well close. I think the author did a fantastic job creating a captivating romance story that captures the heart as well as the imagination. I love that the series is a clean romance which you don’t see every day it was sweet. I highly suggest if you’re looking for sweet romance you check it out.

Good conclusion to the story. Though I wish they had gotten together sooner, and with more details about the wedding. But I enjoyed it.

If you have read my reviews of The Husband Maker (The Husband Maker #1) and The Match Maker (The Husband Maker #2) you know that I have been predicting about what would happen in the end and that I have had mixed feelings about it.

In this instalment, Angus decides to move on with his life without Charlotte in it. He feels that he is done waiting and done with putting his heart on the line. On the other hand, Charlotte realizes that she is in love with Angus and that he is the most important thing in her life. So, when Angus moves to another city, she quits her dream job and follows him to try and win him back. No matter how many times Angus tells her that she should go back and that he doesn’t want her there, Charlotte hangs on, doing odd jobs and trying to win him back.

While I have mostly liked Charlotte through the series, I had a love hate relationship with her in this one. On one hand I hated her for giving up her dream job and moving away from her very loving family for a boy. On the other hand I admired the ‘grand gesture’ she made to prove her love and I admired her strength in moving to a new city and doing odd jobs to make ends meet. Angus on the other hand has been my favourite character throughout the series and I loved him in this one too. He is adorable as ever and to some extent I did understand his apprehension about opening up his heart to Charlotte again. I also loved Will in this book.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book as I finally got to read the romance that I have been predicting all along. And by the end of this book, I am actually glad that the author took the route that she has taken by making us wait for Angus and Charlotte’s story. I also enjoyed how the author has portrayed Charlotte in this book – she is determined to win Angus back but is not pushy about it. Instead she deals with him with patience.

A great conclusion.
