I read an early draft of this book (courtesy of the sweet author) and it was a laugh-out-loud riot with a good dose of hot and swoony. I loved getting to know these characters, and I can't wait to see how their story changes and grows when it's a finished product!

• Quick Thoughts and Rating •

Ana: 4 stars!! This is a story that will melt your heart and tickle your funny bone! It was fun and humorous, and yet still dealt with some serious stuff. Somehow the author was able to combine it all in a seamless way that kept me glued to the pages.

Christina: 4 stars! Chasing Crazy may deal with some pretty tough subjects, but I love how Siskind kept the book almost purely light and fluffy! There was plenty to love about this novel, particularly the characters, and I haven't laughed out loud that many times in the span of 34o pages in a very long time.

• The Rest of our Flails…ummmm…opinions! •

Ana: Normally I would describe a story about two characters who've known tragedy in their past as heavy or heart wrenching. In this case, however, I'm happy to add the words fun and humorous to the list of adjectives. This is a story about two people doing the best they can to deal with the blows that life has dealt them.

The difference between this book and others is that both characters have hope and, even though it may be hidden deep inside their hearts, they're willing to take a chance because of it. They certainly don't set out to find each other...on the contrary, they're both running away from their current situations. However, they quickly recognize the possibilities life can hold once they meet. I absolutely loved watching them fall in love. Even with their doubts and their fears, they didn't give up. Sam made me swoon more than once and, of course, Nina's tragic accident-proneness (yes, I may have just made that up) had me laughing out loud. Watching each of them break out of their shells, and deal with their issues, with the encouragement of the other made my heart beat faster. This book brought all the feels...and a heartfelt sigh of joy at the end to make me happy.

Love is meant, not to change you, but to make you the best person you can be and this book laid that lesson out in the perfect way. The writing was wonderful and, overall, this was a quick, fun, heartwarming read. Can't ask for more than that!!

Christina: My section is going to be pretty quick and to the point: I'm quite fond of this novel. Pininfarina "Nina" Gabri is just as out there as her name. She's a disaster-magnet and this book is all about her owning the crazy that happens around her, even when she traveled across the world to New Zealand to try and escape it while reinventing herself simultaneously. Helping her in that quest is one-syllable Sam, a guy on his own journey to find his former self, the carefree, charismatic guy that owned the football field and everything around him before the car accident that took away his athletic career, left him visibly and emotionally scarred, and killed his mother. In this lush, vibrant setting that pulled me and enticed all my senses, I fell in love with watching this couple fall for each other. It was swoony and sexy, happening at a natural pace with a chemistry that truly sizzled the pages. Ms. Siskind did a wonderful job of creating characters, both main and secondary, that leaped off the pages and directly in to my heart. (She also introduced some ones I loved to despise, too. Thus the talent of a good writer.) With true character growth, sex scenes that set my skin aflame, and absolute hilarity that had me cackling from the very start and as I continued reading along, Chasing Crazy was a novel that I won't soon forget. Siskind found the perfect balance between angst, humor, and fluff, and I simply couldn't get enough.

A very special thanks to Forever Yours and NetGalley for providing us with an advanced copy of this title in exchange for our honest review.

Reread #1. It's been several years since I read this the first time and I've been itching to reread it. I finally said screw it and jumped in and I'm thrilled to say I loved it just as much this time around. A fun, steamy and feels-filled new adult romance.

I picked this book up after one of my favorite authors recommended it to me over dinner while I was in Wisconsin. She described it as "Anna and the French Kiss... with sex." Since AatFK is one of my all-time favorite YA books — and I like my books with sexy times — I wasted no time in buying this one. In fact, I even started it on the plane on the way back from Wisconsin. Which was kinda perfect considering the opening scene takes place on a plane. (And had me literally laughing out loud to the point where I had to tell my seatmates/friends/work colleagues what was so funny.) So any book that has me crying with laughter in the first chapter is one I'm bound to love. I didn't know just how much I'd wind up loving it when it was all said and done though. (Spoiler: A LOT.)

This book. It did things to my heart. Both Sam and Nina were wonderful characters and I fell in love with them from the start. From their ridiculously awkward first meeting to the times they spent traveling together as friends until they finally gave in and went for more together, I adored them. They quickly became two of my all-time favorite NA characters. Nina was so awkward. I can relate to her. Sam as swoony as hell and sensitive. Together? They were nothing short of perfection. They had crazy chemistry. They understood each other in a way others in their lives hadn't. Yes, they were both hiding something, but they had to really trust each other before they could start to tell. So not only was this a great (and super sexy) romance, it was a funny, awkward and charming coming of age story. Bonus? It was pretty low on the angst scale, too. Hooray!

Of course, I'm a sucker for any type of "trip" books so this fed that need, too. I loved the setting and I felt like I was right there with them the whole time. If I ever go on a trip to New Zealand (or any other country, to be honest) I hope I run into a pair like Nina and Sam. I just know we would totally be friends in real life. I seriously could go on and on and on (and on) about all the things I loved about Chasing Crazy, but no one wants to read that. I'll just leave it at this: I loved everything. There's not one little single thing I would change about it. It's one of my favorite NA books to date and one that I'll reread over and over again when I'm in the mood for a lot of laughs and a fair amount of teary feels. I loved the words and Kelly's writing. (As evident by the number of passages/quotes I highlighted in my copy... and have listed below.) If you're a NA fan and you've not yet read this book, drop everything and pick it up immediately. You won't be sorry.

Kelly is definitely one of my new favorite authors of 2016. Between this book and her Over the Top series, she's hit "autobuy/autoread" author status. I can't wait to see what's next. (Actually, I know what's next... the third book in the Over the Top series and I am DYING to get my hands on it! Nico! Raven! Finally!)

FAVORITE QUOTES
This is how it's been lately. Like I'm a thirteen-year-old boy hitting puberty. I picture guys naked or in various states of undress—how they'd taste, how they'd fee, and how they'd touch me. (Apparently I'm a gay thirteen-year-old boy with the bow-chicka wow-wow porno instrumental as the soundtrack to my life.)

Wow. I just said that. I called Hot Guy Mister Man. I can't even get angry right.

Maybe it's not having been touched by a girl for more than a year now, but I want to own her. No. Not own her. I want to fuck her. I want it raw and fun with no strings attached. Travel sex, pure and simple. Once and done.

"So we're a fucked-up guy and a disaster-magnet girl ready to take on a country with more sheep than people."
"Yeah, we got this."

She weaves her fingers between mine and runs her thumb over my skin. It's such a simple gesture. Any other girl, on any other day, and I'd barely even notice. Maybe even be annoyed. But this girl, on this night, in this amazing country, and I'm falling to my knees.

Not knowing why, my hand floats from his chest up to his chin, to the scar embedded under his stubble. I trace the indentation, the way he often does, and our lips part at the same moment, his eyes burning into mine. Fierce. Beautiful. Perfect. Those are the words that describe this man. "God, I wish you were mine," I say. Like out loud? Those words were supposed to be on mute. Unspoken. A silent prayer.
That's when he growls.

"One, let's make that the official last time you ever talk to me about another guy being near you. Ever. Two, you could knee me in the balls, and I'd still want you. I'll never call you names. I'll always have your back. Three, there will be enough foreplay that when I do slide inside of you, slowly, you'll be begging for more. And four, my vote is you're still a virgin. That cherry is all mine."

I'm weird and quirky. A little bit crazy. More accident-prone than a blind three-legged dog. I'm Pininfarina Gabri, disaster-magnet, future chef, and lover of all things Sam. I am me—the good, the bad, and the ridiculous—and now Sam and I get to discover us.

I absolutely devoured this book. I loved the writing and the words flowed so well. The 2 main characters, Sam & Nina, were so well developed and had great character arcs. I loved their growing romance, all their 'real' insecurities that most 20yr olds have as they try to find themselves, try to love themselves for who they are. The author showed us how to embrace ourselves and chase our craziness, for that's who we are. We are all unique and that's what makes us special.
I cant believe this is this author's first book because it was so well written and had perfect delivery. You felt everything the characters were feeling, and cheered, cried, and screamed when they did. I loved Nina's quirks and I think that's what made this book so interesting. It wasn't the same ol' boring, repetitive story.
Fantastic read and I hope Ms Siskind writes a lot more books!

Note: This ARC was provided by Forever Yours in exchange for an honest review.

The story starts off on a hilarious note, and we're quickly given an idea of just how accident-prone Nina actually is. It appears she has a habit of drawing attention in the most unwitting of ways, and she's already suffered from public humiliation, the effects of which she still feels. She's one heck of an entertaining heroine, but while she does inspire a smile, a giggle, and a laugh, she's also a young woman who's got her share of insecurities and phobias. She's quirky and real, aware of her eccentricities and that's what makes her even more endearing. She has difficulty accepting compliments, something I can totally relate to, and I wish I could say she doesn't apologize for being her because the girl says "sorry" a lot. And yes, these also make dear Nina quite captivating, so it's easy to see why Sam is drawn to her from the moment they meet.

Speaking of Sam... Ah, where do I begin with Sam? We're barely two weeks into the new year, but I'm already calling dibs on him being my newest book boyfriend. It's difficult to find a reason to dislike the guy. He is by no means perfect, but he owns up to his mistakes and he makes up for them. He isn't just accepting of Nina and her idiosyncrasies; he's supportive and provides her with the encouragement to overcome whatever needs to be overcome. He's simply there for her and who doesn't love a guy like that? He's got his own issues and hang-ups that he's hesitant to bring up for fear of Nina turning away from him. Sam is all heart--when he loves, he's all in, but when he hurts, it's just as deep. This is the kind of guy you wish were real, and if he asked you to wait for him, you would...because he's worth the wait. Just ask Nina.

I loved reading about Sam and Nina and how their trip to New Zealand began on separate paths that allowed them to make their way to each other so that they could continue the journey together. We experience their evolution as characters, growing up and making the types of choices that aren't always easy but are the ones that bring peace of mind while holding on to hope, and the transition of their relationship from travel buddies to something that could very well, and I sincerely believe, be more happily-ever-after than happy-for-now. I'm going to highly recommend that you chase the crazy good and insanely fab Chasing Crazy all the way to your preferred e-retailer and get yourselves a copy of this five-plus-starred read. And I'm keeping an eye on Kelly Siskind because something tells me she's one to watch. ♥

I think this is Kelly's only YA book. The MCs are in their early twenties and not so experienced. It is a cute love story and I read it in one sitting. The characters are lovely and some times I was forgetting that they are 19 years old, something that I enjoyed because in contemporary romances I like the MCs to be in their late twenties.
In the end 19 or 29, it doesn't matter because I loved the story and I love New Zealand!!!

Chasing Crazy was a total roller coaster from beginning to end in the most beautiful way. Nina (whose real name is pretty quirky Pininfarina) is full of accidents waiting to happen. A walking disaster in life & I say that knowing that I myself am a walking disaster as well. Now some of the things that have happened to her are not things that have happened to me but definitely I am known for being accident prone. Nina who has escaped to New Zealand to backpack and have a rebirth in a way. Start fresh if you will. Then we have Sam who has gone through his own tragedy and is also backpacking through New Zealand in a escape and refresh purpose in mind. However they both help each other in the truest way possible and its to help find their true selves. Help themselves under stand who they are to the core. Accept each other and grow together. This was such a journey type read and I really enjoyed their character development overall. Incredible read and thank you for the opportunity to have read this.

I binge-read this book in a day because OMG it was SO FRIGGIN' GOOD! It was funny, and sexy, and endearing, and I just loved everything about it. The heroine, Pininfarina aka Nina, was just a walking disaster-magnet. She provided so many LOL moments, but I loved watching her come into her own during the book. And Sam, the hero, has a tragic past but was the perfect swoonworthy hero. I loved watching Sam and Nina fall in love and overcome their insecurities together. And as a travel junkie myself, the setting in New Zealand made this book even more fun.

It's early in 2016, but not too early for me to say I think this will be one of my favorites for the year! Chasing Crazy is crazy good! :)

A bit cliché at times - awkward girl falls for perfect guy with a secret - and some of the characters seemed underdeveloped. It had its good moments, though. I didn't love it but I didn't dislike it either.

I'd heard some buzz from my twitter timeline about this author and this book. I'd put it on my TBR and then I saw the offer to read it and I jumped at it. I wasn't disappointed. I read this book in a day because I couldn't put it down.

Nina just doesn't know where she belongs. She is famous in her town, but not for a good thing. Her life was supposed to get better when she went to college but it really just isn't. She doesn't know how to make it any better and at home she's the responsible one. Not that her parents are bad they're just free, peace loving people. Nina decides to take a break, a vacation of sorts. She wants to find herself and maybe being half way around the world is just what the doctor ordered. What she wasn't counting on was meeting a guy, Sam.

Sam is trying to find himself too. The last year of his life has been a mess and New Zealand is where he's planning on finding what got lost. He didn't expect to meet a girl. Especially not someone that became important. He was told once that when you know, you know. Can he convince Nina that he knows?

I really enjoyed this story about a boy and a girl trying to find themselves and ending up finding each other. They both have things going on in their real lives that has shoved them in to more responsibility then any young adult should have to deal with. Nina just wanted to belong and she realizes that sometimes fitting in and belonging won't always make you happy. Sam is trying to come back from something that devastated him and caused rejection in his life. Nina shows him that not everyone will treat him that way. Nina is sometimes impossibly down on herself and so very quirky. I loved her quirkiness but sometimes it was over the top. Not so much that it was distracting. I want to know what you all think about this book!! When you're done let me know and leave the author love in the form of a review!

I was fortunate enough to read an advance copy of this hilarious book. From the opening scene, I was laughing at the mishaps of a very accident-prone Nina. Kelly Siskind takes a series of cringe-worthy events and renders them with a narrative style that makes them laugh out loud funny. And when the heroine crosses paths (in the most humiliating way imaginable) with the seemingly perfect Sam, the swooning begins.

Though they start off strangers who met by chance on an airplane, as Sam and Nina begin to travel together across New Zealand, they grow comfortable in each other's company and their chemistry continues to heat up. But they both came to New Zealand to leave behind parts of themselves they'd rather forget, and neither is ready to show the secret imperfections they fear will horrify the other. Since their friendship has an expiration date at the end of their respective travels, they can both pretend for a short while to be a more perfect version of themselves.

But their true selves have a way of showing, and it's enormously fun to watch these two navigate this new relationship together.

This is a satisfying romance with so much heart.
