i'm marking this as "read" so it counts towards my goodreads challenge and no one can stop me #selfcare

There’s some stuff about tarot cards and crystals and stuff, but if you ignore that part, this actually does appear to be a solid resource. I recommend.

The A to Z format of this book was fun. It feels a bit like a blog post, running through a long list of different self-care ideas. The political angle was annoying, but I enjoyed most of the book's content anyhow and I am slightly inspired to take better care of myself (we'll see how it goes).

This book went through self care ideas alphabetically. While it was not all-encompassing, it did touch on a lot. The author was real and authentic.

Meant for Gen Z readers, not me.

This is a wonderful guide that provides tons of options that can be done at any time. The guide is very honest that sometimes we have different levels of energy for self-care, and have different self-care needs. The guide is also written with a lot of warmth and humor which makes it even better. No matter what you feel about the concept of "self-care" this book is for you. It balances being clear that self-care is very personal while still giving lots of concrete possibilities.

True self-care is reading this book and doing none of it

Of the new self help/self-care books I have read, this was the most useful. The format of A-Z, the flowchart of what way to take care of yourself was great, the additional resources, and the booklist for further reading were very helpful and made the book worthwhile. Would recommend to any interested in self-care and adapting it to one's life and needs.
