This was a good read. It was actually my first murder mystery m/m story. I have read books by this author before which I thought were amazing, and this book did not fall short either. This author would be one of my favourites and continue to follow her work.

Both characters were very well thought out and explained. One, the broken older man, saved by the young chirpy constable, and vice versa. Both lovable and relatable and the story had me on the 'edge of my seat.'

I really enjoyed this book and the characters in it - very easily read. The storyline is so relatable - who hasn't had their heart ripped from their chest, resulting in loneliness that you end up signing up to online forums. This was a cute use of online forums though. 'Cole,' the rugged construction company owner and the gentle bee keeper 'Ren,' was such a joy to read and watching how their love unfold with confusion, honesty and bravery to open up and 'see what happens.' I had a lot of laughs reading this, especially with the unexpected 'item' stuck in the shower, but I won't mention anything more so you can enjoy the book for yourself.

Even though I have read this book in the past - before discovering GR - I can trust the entire series to make me laugh.

For a really short addition to Caulky, this was a nice compliment to the book. It was good to read the book and then see where they were further down the line, but no surprise, they were still 'at it.'

Again, [a:K.M. Neuhold|14204017|K.M. Neuhold|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1444342409p2/14204017.jpg] did not disappoint!

Stone bought a fixer upper and his new neighbour took a dislike to him which he didn't understand. So he gives him reason to dislike him. This was a hilarious and sad story line, but more so hilarious. The antics Stone gets up to 'annoy' his neighbour Dare, was just down right cruel, but also funny as fuck! I tip my hat in respect to Dare for not going off the rails with Stone because that man has tolerance and patience, even if he does have a past! The rent-a-zoo would have been the last straw for me, but when the goat does the unthinkable, I think I literally gasped. Dare starts out as a lonely, grumpy person and happy that way, until Stone comes into his life and turns it up side down.

Great character and easily read as it is with most of the author's books. I must admit, K.M. Neuhold has always been an automatic read for me and she never disappoints. She knows what I like

Well, for one I think its safe to say that you need to read [b:Nailed|53189356|Nailed (Four Bears Construction, #2)|K.M. Neuhold|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1587050540l/53189356._SY75_.jpg|80202894] before reading this because you will find it as funny as I did! Again, Stone is up to his antics and for the love of god.... Goats! I think Dare needs to buy more underwear if he is to make it through this.

Even though it is really short, it is again nice to see where the characters end up. They got their dream of a farm full of dogs - not to mention their wacky names - and now goats. Loved the short snip it and compliments [b:Nailed|53189356|Nailed (Four Bears Construction, #2)|K.M.
