Raw, unforgiving and real. That's what this book was like. The characters, their behaviour, the situations they were all very relatable, and I have to say that I've learnt quite a few things from this book.
My opinion is that the author wanted to teach lessons about life not only through what she wrote down, but even through the things not written or discussed too much in the book. I truly believe that later on, when Harry will realise what an enormous mistake that "little" sleeping around was, he will be destroyed. Of course, this was not in the book, so we could say this was missing from it.
Still, I feel like this was a good read, a real slap in the face in the middle of the fantasy-ocean that I'm usually swimming in. I'm glad I have read this.

"A remnant of a dreamer gone mad
A hopeless romantic who hasn't been fed
An artist starving for Life, to Live."
There were a few very good poems, and a few bad ones. At times I felt it was repetitive, and somewhat boring, at times I felt like the poet just didn't know what to write. Some poems started out very nicely and then it looked like she just wanted to get it over with. But it desbribed real emotions, real pain and it was quite relatable.

This just "fell short of my expectations". Boring, repetitive and not poetry-like, more of a collection of short essays.
"gravity speaks
if i'm holding you without hands,
how am I supposed to let go?"
A very touching and emotional poetry collection.

It was a quick little mystery. Good enough to keep me on the edge of my seat but I felt like the revelation fell short. I like to get hints about the solution to the mysteries but I do not like it when the writer just puts it into my mouth, saying that 'Oh, you should've figured it out by now. It was like this and that.' I didn't like the main character either. Lo was unstable, always drinking, always scared, always depressed. She needs help, but she's not open to any, and her friends and family don't really take her seriously. Getting close to the end, and the only thing I've observed is the disappearence of most characters. They were there, described and left a print on Lo's life and then *whosh*. Nowhere to be found. It felt like the book was rushed at the end towards the conclusion. And what's the matter with Judah? Lo broke up with him but he still pretended to be her boyfriend. And she was ok with that? It felt kind of strange.
In the end, it was a nice read. Wouldn't read it again though.
