Bachelor Fan...

I'm a bachelor fan & will read just about anything put out by the participants at some point or another. I loved Hannah from the show & DWTS, but I was a little skeptical about the book primarily because of the whole religious aspect. Surprisingly, it didn't throw me off or make me lose interest, I really enjoyed reading Hannah's story, and it was fat more deep and complex that what the media has portrayed her life to be. Glad to have read it!

I loved it! Couldn't put it down... The characters, the different perspectives, the depth of content surrounding topics of gender & sexuality, the
humor... All the feels. The ending... I hope there's a sequel!

First reading of this book for my YTT but I imagine reading & rereading for years to come. I enjoyed learning about the tenets of Yoga practice & reflecting on the way these are present in my life now, and how I'd like to make changes. I noticed many parallels to therapy theory & practice, that I enjoyed connecting. I'm looking forward to sitting down and completing the journaling prompts that correspond with each Yama & Niyama. This book gave me lots to ponder in philosophy and practice as a yoga student / practitioner and a human. Would definitely recommend!

I had high hopes! The first 40 chapters were decent but I found myself procrastinating in reading this one, reaching for other books that picked up faster (in my opinion). Wasn’t until chapter 40+ that I really got in to it, but I’m glad I stuck with it. I enjoyed the storyline overall. Maybe just a personal preference for length & speed of story progression?

Had high hopes, was a little underwhelmed. I generally like multiple POVs & enjoy "unlikable" main characters but I struggled staying invested in this one. I stuck it out til the end and was glad I did - liked the ending but overall 3/5 ⭐.

Liked the book very much, each chapter seemed to get better and better, couldn’t put it down towards the end. Don’t wanna give any spoilers but definitely check for trigger warnings before you dive in, some very sensitive/traumatic material in here.
