I really enjoyed this book!
It gave me a glimpse into a different culture from my own and it gave me a different perspective. This is my first time reading from the perspective of widows. It’s just a reminder of how much life and wisdom the elderly have in all areas of live, even intimacy.

This is a memoir about Roxane Gay and her relationship with her body. This book has so many relatable themes such as trauma, abuse, the desire to be loved and a journey to self love and acceptance.

This is my first time reading a book by Roxane Gay and I can’t wait to read her other work!
