I LOVED this psychological thriller! Super entertaining and twisty. To an extent, it reminded me of You.
Sheila, a professor, is sleeping with her student, Ethan. Already pretty messed up, but 1. she’d just gotten engaged to her boyfriend, Morris, and 2. she’s also a sex addict. When she decides to end the affair after getting engaged, that’s when Ethan completely lost it and went on full psycho mode

I can’t even begin to describe what and how this book made me feel. I absolutely cannot and will not rate this book. I can’t even believe I’m actually REVIEWING this book.
“An Extreme Horror Novel”. I was hesitant. I thought to myself “Christina, if you get spooked and end up with nightmares, that’s your own fault. You chose to read this.” And y’all. I was SO WRONG. This is absolutely next level. A whole other level I did not know even existed. I’m not spooked. I’m utterly DISTURBED. AND NOT IN A GOOD WAY. I went in blind and I regret every part of it.
This must be the most disturbing, gut-wrenching, and sickest book I’ve ever read. And this book?! This book only has 129 pages. A hundred and twenty freaking nine PAGES. Y’all, I’m dead.
If you know me, you know that I LOVE gory, dark thrillers. Even with disturbingly graphic scenes - absolutely does not faze me anymore. But this book?? A whole other universe. It’s so graphic, you’ll feel it in your bones. It’ll make your stomach turn. It’ll mess with your head. It’s overwhelming.
If you plan to read this book (please don’t), make sure to read all the trigger warnings. Let me tell you, it’s A LOT.
Also, make sure you can stomach it.

Well, what a huge let down. It pains me to write this review, but it is what it is..
The Bone Keeper started off so well. Being an investigative thriller, I assumed I’d definitely enjoy this one. The beginning made me curious and I couldn’t wait to learn more about the creepy Bone Keeper.
This entire book was such a slow burn. It felt like it took me forever to finish and read through these 400 pages. The beginning is what draws you in but then it becomes repetitive. New names and stories are thrown into the loop and I legit did not know who the characters were talking about or what was going on. And this confusion went on for the entire book.
I thought about DNFing but at this point I was already 60% in and pushed through. The ending somewhat explains who The Bone Keeper is and tells a bit more about the main character’s past, but that’s about it. No huge plot twist, no crazy ending. Nothing. This book fell flat for me and I’m just so disappointed because it had so much potential ☹️

The Liar’s Wife was suspenseful, gripping, and a page-turner!
It was entertaining, not too slow. The premise isn’t one you haven’t heard of before - the husband starts acting suspicious and one day disappears with their son shortly after the wife found out he was seeing someone else.
The ending was good but didn’t knock me off my feet. I’d consider this book a cozy and suspenseful mystery, not much of a thriller read. I didn’t find it action packed but it still held my attention well. Definitely an easy read.

The Missing is a quick and fun adventurous read on top of being a locked island mystery! I went in blind and did not know what to expect. I definitely didn’t know the story is about strangers being stranded on a deserted island.
A few things I enjoyed about this book:
• the beach/tropical vibes!

I honestly don’t know how to rate this or if I should. Lucinda definitely chose a topic that is rarely spoken about. Actually, it’s one no one wants to talk about. A topic people avoid. And this one’s a tough pill to swallow.
I can’t imagine being a mom and finding out my teenage son has molested little girls. Like, how do you react to that? What do you do? What do you say? What’s going to happen?
To an extent I empathized with Adrianne, Noah’s mom. Trying to keep the family together, trying to do everything in her power to “save” her son from this “problem”. Lucas, Noah’s dad, reacted to the confession in a way that wasn’t out of the ordinary. I didn’t blame him.
Saving Noah was a book that made me feel all kinds of emotions. At one point it was hard to breathe. It definitely makes you think! Lucinda is known to blur the lines between fictional and non fictional and she did a great job with this one!

Don’t Look For Me was SUCH a fun, gripping, and twisty read! The audiobook made it even more enjoyable: The narration was PERFECT - the voices were filled with so many emotions. They made you FEEL the fear, frustration, and doubt.
This book was just great from beginning to end - the first few chapters pull you right in and the end finishes off strong.
Molly Clarke did something terrible years ago. Something unforgivable. But when that truck stopped to give her a ride on that stormy night her car broke down, she was given a second chance. Or so she thought.
The twists and turns did not stop and I was baffled when I found out who Molly’s captor was! There are so many pieces to Don’t Look For Me that made this book “unputdownable”:
* Alice - the captor’s daughter who was “allergic” to the outside
* The abandoned house in the middle of the woods
* The fact that everyone thought Molly did not want to be found
* The captor’s twisted mind
This is the perfect locked room mystery and psychological thriller! And I 100% recommend this book!
