The Wallflower and the Running Back by Ginger Scott is book 2 in the Final Score series.  If you like opposites attract, football, fake dating, and college life books then you will love this book.

Rachel is a smart curvy scientist who dreams of becoming a chemist. Her plans to study abroad in Germany fall through and to make matters worse she finds her boyfriend and best friend in a compromising position, she is left heart broken.

Logan plays college football and is close to making it to the NFL.  He finds out that he is not doing well in chemistry and decides he needs a tutor. Rachel is asked to tutor Logan and reluctantly agrees on the condition he goes as her date to the science ball.

I loved this book and is my favorite in the series. I loved Riggs and Rachel’s relationship. I loved their connection and how they supported and brought out the best in each other.  I enjoyed watching Rachel go from wallflower to becoming so strong and standing up for herself.  I highly recommend this book. I was given this book as an ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions.

Cold Hearted Casanova by L.J. Shen is book 3 in the Cruel Castaways series.  If you like fake marriage, forced proximity, enemies to lovers, and secret billionaire books then you will love this book.

Daphne “Duff” is working in a New York on a Visa that is about to expire. She needs someone to marry her but her boyfriend is leaving her for 6 months.

Riggs is a photographer who is a nomad. He doesn’t do relationships and doesn’t have a home.  One day Duggar walks into her bosses office and catches her in a compromising position. She’s uses this to her advantage and convinces Riggs to marry her. Riggs not wanting to take a job that is being offered to him…agrees.

I laughed so much in this book. The banter between Daphne “Duff” and Riggs was so much fun. They were not very good at communicating but after learning of their background I got it.  I loved the side characters as much as the MC. My favorite was Charlie. I cannot recommend this book enough.  I love this book!! I was given this book as an ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions.

Past the Rush by Britt Stark is book one in the Crescent City Kings Football series and I loved this story. If you like sports and work romances, brothers best friend, second chance stories then you will love this book!!

Lenna and Conrad have feelings for each other but are afraid to act on it since Conrad’s best friend is Lenna’s brother Thomas. One night their lives are changed, Lenna is left heartbroken and Conrad was no where to be found.

Thirteen years later, fate has brought them together after she had lost her job and her boyfriend in the same day and moves back home. Conrad just so happens to be traded to the Kings, the same team Lenna just got hired on to do their social media. Even though they have both changed in 13 years the one thing that hasn’t are their feelings and attraction they have for each other.

Omg this ending had me so emotional and I don’t think I could’ve fallen for Connor any harder. This was a quick read that I wish was longer. I love Lenna and Conrad their characters were written so well. I cannot wait for the next book. I was given an ARC of this book for my honest thoughts and opinions.

Beginnings by Bridget Nicole is book one in the Pinewood Pack series and I enjoyed it. If you like romance books about werewolves and shifters then you will love this book.

Olivia was raised believing that werewolves didn’t exist.  Then one day Ethan Sullivan, the Alpha of the Pinewood werewolf pack, sees her and knows that he’s met his bonded mate. After Ethan and Olivia share a kiss she is convinced and feels the undeniable pull of the mate bond that she cannot deny.

I’m new to the werewolves and shifter genre but I’m really enjoying it. This book was good and had me captivated from the first page. I loved learning how the mate bond works and how werewolves can transform into humans. Nicole gave so much attention to detail even explaining how the werewolves don’t ruin their clothes.  I was given this book as an ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions.

The Drawback of Single Dads by Piper Rayne is book 4 in the Lake Starlight series and such a cute love story. If you love books about friends to lovers, single dads, single moms, small town, and second chance romance books then you will love this book.

Palmer is an author who is deaf she uses cochlear implants when she wants to communicate with the hearing community. Hudson is a ski instructor. They are best friends who slept together one drunken night and resulted in a beautiful daughter name Adley who is now 3 years old.  They have the best friendship which helps in them being the best coparents. Palmer moved back home to Lake Starlight after finding out she was pregnant so she could be closer to family and friends. Not wanting to let her raise their daughter alone or not wanting to be away from Adley,  he moved back to Lake Starlight with her into a house right next door.

This book was so good and I loved the relationship between them. Adley’s relationship with her parents is so cute. I love that we got to read Bea and Pete’s story being written in real time and tells how they met. I liked that Piper made her character deaf, how she had Hudson learn to sign so he could communicate with her, and how they were teaching Adley to sign as well.  I cannot wait to go back and read the other books in the series. I enjoyed their story so much. I was given this book as an ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions.

Fox by DJ Krimmer is book 1 in the Hel’s Ink series and it was so good. If you love books about swoony hero’s, age gap, and enemies to lovers then you will love this book.

Janie grew up at Hel’s Ink the tattoo shop her father Tony owned. Instead of following in her father’s footsteps she becomes a popular social media influencer.  Fox has worked at Hel’s Ink for more than two decades. He not only works for Tony but he is his mentor and friend.

Tony unexpectedly dies and leaves the shop to Janie who doesn’t want it. She is ready to sign it all over to Fox when she overhears a conversation that wasn’t meant for her.  She then decides to show them that’s she not just a girl who is on social media and decides not to sign the shop over.

My heart hurt reading what Fox experienced in his life and why he never wanted to be in a relationship. It was sad to read how Janie never felt good enough not knowing how proud her dad really was of her. Fox and Janie’s attraction to each other was so strong but both were keeping the other at arms distance. This book was so good!! I can’t wait to read the rest of the books in the series. I was given an ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions.

Need Your Peace by Margaret Goodwin is book 3 in the Tampa Thunder series. It was such a good quick read. If you like books where he falls first, brothers best friend, forced proximity, hockey romance, single dad, and marriage of convenience then you will love this book.

Penny FMC is a kindergarten teacher who just recently ended a long-term relationship with Ethan who was toxic and boring.

Luke MMC is Penny's brother's best friend who plays hockey for the Tampa Thunder and is known as a playboy.

One day a 2 week old little girl is dropped off at his door step, he soon learns that Everlee is his daughter. He realizes that he needs to make some changes to his life and fast. Penny suggests they get married to help with Luke's reputation, he can help her learn to have fun. Luke soon realizes that he is falling for her. Because of what Ethan put Penny through she struggles with feeling like she is good enough for Luke.

This book was so cute and I didn’t want to put it down. Luke becomes so protective of Penny and treats her how she deserves to be treated. I loved watching Penny realize how she deserved to be treated and loved. I loved this story so much. I received this book as an ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions.

The Crown of Wyvern’s Flame by Emilia Jae is book 2 in the Forbidden Heir Trilogy and it was AMAZING!! If you like fated mates, touch him/her or you will die, found family, kingdom rivals, Wyvern’s, multiple POV’s, enemies to lover’s books then you will love this book

This book picks up where the Dagger and the Forbidden Heir left off. If you haven’t read that book then you are missing out. Lia has been captured and returned to Velyra as a prisoner. Avery and Finn have learned the truth about who Lia is. Avery and Finn are determined to keep Kai from claiming the throne. Lia has bonded to Nox a Wyvern who has been imprisoned with her, they set out to find Jace, Gage, and Zaela.

I cannot say enough good things about this book. The world building is amazing. We know how strong Lia is but in this book we get to see how much Avery and Finn are changing. Avery, I feel is becoming a warrior like her sister. I love how they are taking a stand and fighting for what they believe in. I still love the banter between Jace, Gage, and Zaela. Nox is the best wyvern who can act like a child but still be protective when he needs to. I cannot wait for the third book, I have to know what happens. Thank you Emilia Jae for giving me an ARC of this book in exchange for my thoughts and opinions.

One Date by K.A. James is #3.5 in the Breaking the Rules series and it was the cutest novella.  If you love friends to lovers, hidden feelings, and billionaire MMC’s then you will love this book.

Jack and Sutton were best friends in college and Sutton has been in love with him since.
Years later they are both single and Jack asks Sutton for just One Date. She’s reluctant because she’s not sure if he wants this as friends or something more. I’m trying not to spoil anything so I will just stop there.

I love this story so much and HAVE to go back to read the other books in the series. I want to know more about Jack and Sutton.  I was given this book as an ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions.

Wicked Court by Ketley Allison is book one in the Titan Falls series. This book had me from page and left me needing to know what happened.  If you like why choose, secret society, gothic, dark college romance with multiple POV’s then you will love this book.

Elara is a badass FMC and has 4 men Cav, Wilder, Caspian, and Axe who are all falling for her in their own way.  She finds herself attracted to all four even though she is trying hard not to. She is on a mission to find out what happened to her brother and the meaning behind a piece of jewelry her grandma left her.

Wicked Court is captivating read that had me hooked from the first page. The chemistry between the characters was written so well and the spice was spicing. I have so many questions with the book ending on a cliffhanger…I can’t wait for book 2. I was given this book as an ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions.
