I think the framework of being aware and kinder to different parts of ourselves is interesting, but his methodology feels rather Freudian and unscientific. He also preaches constantly and states grandiose claims. If you have read any Eckhart Tolle, this book feels similar to his work. Wouldn't recommend.

The woo-woo spirituality sections didn't really do much for me, but the basic principles make sense and the exercises are interesting.

Really interesting book. Changed the way I see myself and others. 2.5 stars because I’m simply not a fan of non fiction and after the first 50 or so pages I completely lost interest, but stuck to it because I felt like I had to since my therapist recommended I read it before our next session. Would definitely recommend the first 50 pages though. Good stuff.

A good book. It got a little too much for me when he started talking about MDMA, vibrations, and inner physics.
Really hope to meet the author someday!

I’m not into psychedelics. But I think the rest of the framework is really beautiful!
