Zábavný čtení. Občas zapomene zmínit „nepodstatný detail“, občas si něco vymyslí, ale je to zábavný čtení.

The first part of this book is incredibly doom and gloomy and quite a slog. I found the parts about dreaming and improving the quality of your sleeping interesting but not enough to compensate for what I thought was just a convoluted trudging pace. A fine book for people who are into stuff like this.

Todos os seres humanos deveriam ler este livro. Ponto.

Pretty interesting book but also felt a little out of touch when it came to practicalities. Sleep is very important but it felt like the book was missing a bit of "touch the grass," in that humans are resilient even if you occasionally have some nights of bad sleep. I also found it interesting there was no mention of new parents...I would have liked to understand why we evolved to have such needy offspring, considering how important sleep is.

A powerful composition, almost exposé if you will, on the importance of sleep. This books makes decades of sleep research accessible, and frames it to address the growing health epidemic of sleep loss.

As someone who’s just started trying to enforce a standardised sleep timetable, this book hammers home the importance of prioritising this and other good sleep hygiene practices.

A fantastic read.

Really interesting read on sleep and the crucial role it plays in our lives. I wish so many of the the lessons in this book where taught in schools and that society as a whole took sleep a whole lot more seriously.

Also this book justifies the importance of a 2pm nap, which is excellent.

Don't have time to write a review, have to go to sleep. Completely and utterly loves the book though
