Couldn't sleep so I read this book, am now mortified lol.

Not only is this topic enormously important, the writing is good, too. Walker does a good job of balancing scientific research, case studies, and data, with interesting anecdotes and examples. His passion for the topic is clear. He explores the impacts of poor sleep habits in several aspects of society - so much surprised me about what we know and don’t know about sleep. Some of this is scary, but all of it is very, very important.

A requirement for all humans.

With a blend of research, personal anecdotes, and practical advice, the book highlights why good sleep is crucial and how we can improve our sleep habits. It's a must-read for anyone looking to understand the profound effects of sleep on our bodies and minds, and why we should prioritize it in our daily lives.

Great read with lots of useful information and studies about sleep. Next step would be to implement some of the steps into daily practice.

My review
1. The writing is very detailed with scientific studies backing each so fact so I didn’t feel the need to double check like I usually do
2. it feels like a Full fletched Theseus on Sleep rather than a book and delves deep into the subject and offers a lot of ideas
3. Sometimes I felt there were too much explanation to dumb down the idea or to get across a topic which some from the non science background might appreciate
4. Overall the book is very valuable and might be worth a revisit sometime down the road
