This is incredibly informative and useful. Sleep is one of the most overlooked, but vital pieces of our overall health. It helped me reevaluate how much I value sleep. I was amazed at the outcomes of many of the studies he discusses and how the demonstrate the ways good sleep benefits us. I knocked him down a star because he indulges in a little bit of fear mongering about medication (both sleep & ADHD meds). He tempers it somewhat, but people who really do need meds already face enough shame so I didn't love that. All in all its a valuable read, and the audiobook was really lovely listen.

Quite a good book about why sleep is crucial in our lives
Bucketloads of information that I know I’ve not managed to save in my brain, so will have to revisit a few times to get the full benefit from this book. Very simple to understand, with information on ways to improve sleep, sleep quality and length, as well as information on ways to reduce anxiety, stress and other things that prevent a fit sleep. Great not only for insomniacs and people with sleep issues, but for the ‘average’ person who thinks their sleeping patterns are fine, just perhaps not quite long enough. For every being who is reliant on sleep.
