I feel like this was written for me to read right here, right now.
I’ve never been more disappointed by a book.
But the aesthetic. *chefs kiss*

Literally so good, haven’t felt this way about a book in quite a while.

This book has good atmosphere and representation but the writing was a slog to get through. I ended up having to listen at 2.15 speed which I only do when I’m feeling like I just really need this to get to the point.
All of the characters were unlikable. They just weren’t really decent people like at all…and I’m not really sure how I feel about that considering this book is supposed to have mental health rep but then also the people with mental health problems are written as really bad people?
And also, if I had to read/hear “the Dalloway Five murders” one more time…like I get it.
And the ending was…a choice…

girl what the hell
i'm actually amazed at how the twist caught me off guard. like, the book was telling us ellis is dangerous over and over and yet it still surprised me! felicity as a narrator def made that work!
im also rlly happy we get (actual) toxic yuri like idgaf i personally need more of those 😁
one thing i'm a biiiit disappointed in is that we don't rlly dive into the other girls. i loved leonie a lot!
