This book is packed with Greek mythology references, which made it very hard for me to stay interested at times. Cassandra is all of us when we let our intrusive thoughts win and it’s refreshing. We all wish we could get another (or multiple) chance at life— to do over some conversations or relationships where we know we went wrong. I do wish most of the time travel wasn’t surrounded by mostly fixing her relationship. At around 75% I was excited to meet the mysterious woman throughout the story and loved how the story ended. I wish we got more of that earlier in the book.
Ugh. This was a five star book until the last two pages. WHY did the author do that?!
I didn't know much about this book other than it included time travel, which is enough to hook and pull me in. Then there was a romance, check, and a quirky MC, check. I thought it was a bit on the long side but at some point it sped up and the end came quick after that. It had plot lines I expected and some I didn't which was enjoyable. 4*
Neurodivergent main character who will get on your nerves but that’s the point. Ended up loving her. A bit too long but I teared up several times and the audio narrator is brilliant
I saw this book posted on a Popsugar FB group. I was intrigued by how many positive comments it had and decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised by the book and am glad I gave it a chance.
Cassandra is on the spectrum and likes things to follow a pattern. When a particular day goes all wrong she discovers that she can reset time and try again. The book wasn't a page turner but I am glad I stuck with it.
There were unexpected surprises along the way and I learned to care about Cassandra and many of the secondary characters as well. It took time. I had to be patient as the story unfolded because many times I felt frustrated with Cassandra and her reactions.
I read how the author put so many of her own experiences into the book and it helped me gain empathy and insight into those who are on the spectrum. Yay for books that have this great superpower to immerse the reader into these kinds of teaching moments.
I sure wish I had the power to go back in time and try and fix my own mistakes. There are many!

it took me sooooooo long to get into this. it feels like i’ve been reading this forever but it was 9 days. I really enjoyed the last 1/3 of the book but the rest was meh.
I wanted to like this one. The premise sounded interesting. I thought Cassandra was going to be a quirky character like Britt-Marie in Britt-Marie Was Here. But I could not find any connection to Cassandra. I just didn't like her. She felt robotic and wooden. Normally, I love the magical realism genre, but this felt more like a slog rather than magical. I have no idea how she even started to date Will, much less have any kind of relationship with him.
DNF at page 78 (start of Chapter 10).

This was an enjoyable story. I'm glad I listened to it, as I think that was a great way to get some of the Cassandra's expressions to really hit. This might be a spoiler, but I don't think it actually is.
I thought this book presented an autistic character very realistically and with empathy. I was genuinely shocked at the end where everyone was like, you ARE autistic, which seemed super obvious from, like, page 16. And the end was gearing up to be a lovely wrapped up story, but then it was not.
I liked this book. Compelling summer read.

Audiobook
What a quirky and beautiful story this is. It was good from the beginning, then dragged just a little in the middle, but once it picked up it was one of the most interesting, engaging, and heart-grabbing stories I’ve seen in a while.
The narrator for this is incredible! She does an excellent job of taking you inside the character so you under what she’s feeling. You understand the anxiety and overwhelm and confusion and cheer her on as she figures out how to build her life to work for her rather than trying just not to be “broken”. I’m not sure I would have fully felt it all if I had read this as text.
The time travel aspect is also really well done and I really enjoyed the Greek mythology references but the thing that made this book great was getting to see Cassandra’s evolution.
