Contagious is a pretty thought provoking read. It's stuffed with humorous examples of viral campaigns, analysis and commentary on the foundations of social transmission in each situation. Overall, I thought this was a quick read that had me laughing while being taking in very informative material on marketing concepts. I work in the marketing field with B2B companies. Even though I thought this book highlights the efforts of lots of B2C companies and their efforts, the principles are still applicable to B2B marketing. I received this boom free through BuzzAgent.com

Očekivala sam nešto sadržajnije i detaljnije.

A solid read, I really enjoyed this book and have learned a few powerful concepts about crafting contagious content, and no, alliteration wasn't one of them!

Several of the stories in this book were fascinating to read about - how one thing or another became viral in today's world. In some ways, this book reminded me of Freakonomics - where you learn things are the way they are for reasons you just wouldn't expect. It was a light & fun listen.

An excellent book. It was a pleasure to read, as well as being very informative. It's user-friendly, right down to the chart at the end of the book. I can't think of anything I didn't like about it! I feel very prepared to market a product, and I can now see how products haven't marketed themselves as well as they could have.

The intro & conclusion were great, but the middle 6 chapters were not that compelling. The author talks about studies and data but doesn’t provide any insight into either one. It felt long-winded. I was hoping that it would have interesting examples like Freakonomics but it never did. Middle section 2.5, rounded up to 3 because of the intro/conclusion.
