Book five in an interconnected series, I don’t think it’s necessary to read the prior books but each couple in the group has their own book and they are very prevalent in this one.
Maggie and Lachlan are the only single ones left in the group, so they agree on a one night with no strings. When Maggie finds out she’s pregnant, Lachlan makes it his mission to be there for her in anyway possible and asks “Can we try?” what starts as a friendship turns into coparenting and morphs into relationship. There relationship was sweet and seeing the found family aspects and how they relied on one another was tear jerking but it just felt a little repetitive and some phrases would be expanded on when I found it unnecessary. It fell a little flat after reading brogans book.

Hadley dated Rowan’s troubled brother, so after finding a baby while on her shift in the safe haven box, with a letter addressed to Rowan she makes the impulsive decision to leave the hospital with the baby and call him.
Hadley is unforgettable, so when Rowan gets a call from her in the middle of the night, his life is forever changed.
The chemistry between Rowan and Hadley is palpable, they take to coparenting Lucy and have the other’s feelings as a top priority as they find comfort in each other along the way. Their relationship was so sweet. They took the responsibility with ease and you could tell they really cared about one another.
This is book 3 in the Aston Archers series, can be read as a standalone but you do see a lot of interactions with the other couples from book 1 & 2 so reading the others mights be helpful to get the full scope of the group. I can’t wait for Carson’s book, the chapter in his pov I think flows a lot more seamlessly than in the previous book.

Jillian and Jaime are two years post accident where Jillian lost her husband and childhood sweetheart and Jaime lost his dad at just four years old while he was in the car. Ever since Jaime has been experiencing tramautic mutism until Elliot, a frequent online customer strolls into the shop one day and keeps coming back. Jillian rightfully has her walls built high after losing someone so impactful in her life, and Elliot gave her the patience and grace needed to work through her grief instead of sitting idle in it like she had every since she lost CJ to better herself for her sweet boy. Elliot was unexpected, in the way she thought he’d be a player but once he saw her he was down bad and never made Jaime feel left out or odd, I mean their relationship alone was too sweet and he started learning asl as soon as he could to communicate with him.
This is a slow burn, they really take the time to get to know each other and grow as individuals along the way before moving their relationship beyond friendship.
Seeing the two Hearts come into themselves and find a part they lost in grief was so special to see and reading how Jaime slowly found his voice was tear jerking, I would get so excited when he’d just make a noise and don’t get me started on his first full phrase.
There is a third act “breakup” the communication on this is so odd to me since they were really good about talking things out up until this point, but does end on a happy ending.

I knew this town and the name Hutch sounded familiar… hehe it’s because I read the arc for Love Me Fearless in January and my dory brain forgot. This is book 4 in an interconnected series, so I do recommend reading at least book 3 first to get the scheme of the missing persons plot. There is two mysteries happening: who is the serial k*ller, who has taken 6 women is and who has it out for Vivian. They move the plot forward without it getting confusing and make for a really interesting read I needed to solve immediately and couldn’t put down. I did figure out who it was, that’s what makes a 5/5 book you’re able to tell with the crumbs the author leaves who it is before it’s revealed.
The relationship was so good from the beginning, Viv really didn’t want anything to do with Everett since she was previously hurt by her police officer husband so while her walls went up Everett slowly broke them down with the interactions he had with the boys, how different he was with his loved ones and the fierce protectiveness he’d shown over Matty and Viv.
THE BOND BETWEEN MATEO AND LOGAN *sobbing* it was so stinkin adorable. The way they just took to each other and were always playing and Logan always involved Matty. He was looking forward to being a big brother 🥺
I’m gonna need Lindens book immediately. This series has been so good so far, I’m excited to continue!

This book had a slow start, I left it for a couple days and picked it back up. I was hooked from the synopsis so I had to keep going. They’ve known each other since they were kids and being Grady’s best friend’s little sister has made Jill completely off limits. When they start working together on a project to save her job and boost his career while out on injury Grady starts to see Jill as the woman she’s become and they help each other delve through trauma, heal, developing their friendship throughout the process.
Summer fling with end date. There is a third act break up. The book was filled with cutesy moments but there was a lot of jumping to conclusions and times where they could’ve said how they felt about one another but didn’t.

Taming you was a sweet and easy read. When trying to get their best friends together in the previous book, Zoey and Matthew end up spending a lot more time together which has Zoey reminiscing on her childhood crush on Matt, and has him thinking about his little sisters best friend as something more, but ultimately off limits. When a baby shows up on Matt’s doorstep, Zoey is his saving grace during his unexpected fatherhood. She really dove head first into coparenting Jayden, and seeing the bonding and routines form around the three of them was too cute.
The one thing I did have an issue with was the randomness of Eliza’s chapter, I understand that it’s to set up the next book, but it just seems so out of place and didn’t add anything to the story because as soon as it was over it was the epilogue.

This is book 5 and the final book in the series, can be read as a stand alone. This is the first book I read in the series and it made me want to read the rest.
Ella is getting married, but not for love she needs a husband so she’s able to adopt a baby and start the family she’s always dreamed of. When touring the wedding venue that Archer runs, the chemistry between Ella and Archer sparks but the problem is that she’s engaged to someone else and they start falling for each other.

Wes has liked Harper since the first time he saw her and is waiting for the right time to make his move. When Harper wins a date with the rockstar her ex loved, they come up with an agreement to benefit them both and get married. This book was quick paced and very cutesy. WES WAS DOWNN BAD and made a point to be very clear with his feelings to Harper very early on.

Bean and Gavin have known each other for 8 years and after an accident leaves Bean injured, Gavin makes it his mission to protect her and coworkers turn to more. This book had a slow start for me and took a bit for me to get into. I think since reading all dual pov books lately this one threw me off a bit as it’s told in 3rd person pov. I did love their back and forth banter and how Bean would keep Gavin on his toes and their main goal to ensure the mission was completed safely was never an afterthought after feelings developed.
