i listened to this as an audio book and the quality wasn't amazing but i had an enjoyable tim nevertheless.
i liked the german sentences and words throughout the book even though i can imagine how this could be weird. but since i am german it made the book more interesting to me by hearing the authors translation of those words into english and comparing that to my own understanding of those words.
this is not the first book about nazi germany that i've read but it was definitly a good one.
i didn't really like the parts that were looking into the future because those spoiled the book for me a bit. i would have liked it more if we just heard of the events in chronological order as Liesel did.

would i recommend tthis book?
yes. to everybody who is looking for a fiction book about nazi germany.

v for Vendetta surely is a classic. everybody knows the movie and remembers the 5th of november and there are countless dudebros who celebrate this book for it seemingly celebrating anarchy.

well it took me a very long time to read because i had a hard time distinguishing characters and understanding the subtle way in which the story is told in this comic.
i cannot see how it is celebrating anarchy when it says in the end, that we need to say goodbye to destruction and murderers to move the country and the people forward. to secure justice and peace. for me the book shows the importance of overcoming the state of anarchy but also that it can be a way to overthrow a strict government. it just has to be temporary.

anyway those things don't have much to do with reading the book itself. i really liked it and enjoyed the time i spent reading it. this was my first comic (normally i read manga or regular books) and the art style just fascinated me troughout the whole book. it is so differnt than the japanese manga style and the use of the negative space is really clever. the way quotes and lyrics are incorporated in the story makes it feel very real and meaningful.
all in all i really liked this book.

would i recommend it?
definitly. even though i would add that it is probably best to read it in your native language even if you think your english is good. i thik it will make it much easier to pick all the details up and just insure  a better time with the comic

i bought this manga to have something to read on a train ride and it was the only manga in the bookshop that wasn't part 11 of something i didn't knew. I have to admit i don't know anything about Fairy Tail and just thought it looked interesting enough.
well and it kind of worked. i didn't expect so many sexualized girls with big boobs (no normal human beings anywhere) but other than that it's a simple and sometimes funny manga. i liked the different styles of the short stories almost as if it is an anthology. at the beginning i had a bit trouble understanding who and what the characters and the world are but in general it is not that important and i figured it out pretty fast.

would i recommend this manga?
yes. it could definitly be nice for people who like the series and enjoy some sexy action/fantasy
but i am not one of those people. it just wasn't really my cup of tea

first off: i have seen the anime and i was kind of confused what happened there. maybe because my partner stole my attention all the time i don't know. but i started reading the manga to understand the things i didn't in the anime.
well did i achieve this goal? yes i did. a bit at least.
i still think the ednding is a little bit confusing. everything after the comet crashes is unclear. why they don't meat at the crater. why they forget their names.
but i guess it is some sort of time travel thing going on here during the first parts of the books, where they swap bodies. this is at least my explanation.
i think the manga is sweet and worth a read. the meteor bit feels a bit rushed and i would definitly prefer it of the story would take some more time to make clear whats going on

would i reccommend this book?
yes definitly if you enjoyed the anime and read the other two parts. its a nice last part.

This book is set in the south of the us and follows the path of two boys with mexican roots. they discover what friendship means and how being an adult works.
they are both interesting characters and they're parents are two. its a small world that is shown in the book. there are only the two boys and theyre parents for most of it.
i don't remember feeling so much with characters in a book in a long time. both boys are very lovable and as a reader you will fall in love with at least one of them. especially because the book focuses so much on the emotions of everybody involved.

its a great book, i would definitly recommend it to anybody who likes young adult fiction and queer literature. i loved every page of it.

Very interesting book. It's pretty straight forward but the thoughts of the characters about the changes in the Alphabet are interesting and their work arounds can be quite entertaining
