Another good one for this series!! For anyone going in, the pining does not last long, so if that is holding you back start reading! I was hesitant because I wasn’t in the mood for half a book of pining but that’s not even close to the case.

i think this was my favorite; second chance-ish with best friends who have always been pining since they met with a continuation of the mystery around the cult that's been targeting the ranch being resolved was a good read.

Ayyo finally Cash and Nick's story! I really do love them both. So the good! I really their chemistry you can tell they've had a long history and clearly adore each other. They work insanely well. I love seeing Cash care so much about his crew esp through his lens. I think the tension of the climax with Salvation Anew was well done and kinda insane like wow I knew revenge plot but not like that. Also I feel like you really get to know why Nick calls him Saint and his patience and kindness is really great. Seth Burke is iconic and im kinda excited for his and Rue's book! I didn't love the dirty talk of this one but that's 100% personal preference lol. Also I know the others did this a bit but I felt like the Salvation Anew stuff should've been sprinkled in more bc it was a little sporadic til the end. Other than that I loved it and im excited for the next one!

This might be my favourite story so far in this series - Cash and Nick’s romance was beautifully written and full of swoon!

I’ve been so curious about these two and their history, and I loved the glimpses that were shared here. I’m talking 12 years of pining and trying to stay in the friend zone they’d decided upon after a weekend together… This story focused more on their now / future instead of the past though, and kept it low on angst, despite the years of pining.

Cash and Nick definitely had an abundance of chemistry, but instead of instantly making up for lost time, they made sure that they were on the same page first. I totally adored how tender and sweet they were together, and I loved how Cash took care of Nick, who was in pretty rough shape. It was beautiful to see how honest and open they were about their feelings for each other and the wants for their future.

There was a bit of suspense and intrigue from the continuing series plot, and I liked how things unfolded here. I felt like Aimee Nicole Walker did a great job of packing a lot things into this book without making anything feel rushed or incoherent. I found the flirting between the sheriff and Rue to be a lot of fun, and I’m really curious about them now.

I really enjoyed being back at Redemption Ridge, and I’m such a big fan of the found family feeling in this series. I honestly can’t wait to see more of these guys in the coming books!

This is the story I’ve been waiting for. I’ve been completely fascinated by Cash since the series started and when it became obvious Nick was going to be his match I looked forward to their story. I was not disappointed.

The first part of their book that deals with the friends to lovers part is sweet and special. The second part of the book that deals with the suspense part and an ongoing storyline issue was alternately infuriating, anger inducing, heartwrenching, and frustrating. When it finally came to a conclusion there was relief but I was hoping for more specific cleanup of the situation. The epilogue was joyful and hopeful and certainly left me eager for book four.

This is the third book in the Redemption Ridge series and really should be done in order. I have been waiting for Cash's story and Nick is just perfect for him. This is an age gap, friends to lovers that grabs your attention from start to finish.

Adore a good friends to lovers

When they met, their explosive chemistry led Cash and Nick to an intense weekend together. But then life - and Nick's new FBI career - pulled them apart and they became friends. Scared to risk their friendship, and knowing they can't give each other what they need with Nick working all over the country, 12 years have gone by. But Cash still hasn't got over Nicky.

Now Nicky turns up, injured, burnt out and feeling broken. And perhaps they do both want the same thing.

I adore a good friends to lovers and this hit the spot, even if it was technically hook-up to friends to lovers

I also loved the reflections on how the age gap was an obstacle when Nick was a 25 year old starting out in his FBI career, but 12 years later, no longer matters.

The found family of Redemption Ridge is wonderful, and the storyline with the cult church and Cash's back story was brilliant. Not quite my favorite of the series but I am here for Nick + Cash!

In this you'll find:
✨MM contemporary romance
✨Spicy scenes inc rimming
✨Gay FBI agent MC
✨Gay tech millionaire turned ex-offender rehab ranch owner
✨Friends to lovers
✨12 year age gap
✨Burn out
✨Struggles with ED
✨Car accident
✨Setting someone up to be arrested
✨Homophobic conversion camp abuse
✨Found family
✨A HEA

[I received a digital arc for an honest review]

Saints Like Him is the third book in the Redemption Ridge series. Cash Sweeney has been fortunate to make his way from ex-con to billionaire and have his ranch to help others find their new way. He’s also had the chance to watch his family find love. Where he comes up short is being so deeply in love with his best friend, Nick Scott, but afraid to take it further. Nick Scott is so relieved to finally be home on the ranch with his best friend. He has also been harboring intense feelings for Cash but the time has never been right. The stars seem to have aligned and the two men find themselves willing to give being together a chance, but outside forces are pushing back at their newfound happiness.

Cash Sweeney has a heart of gold and is willing to settle for happiness being found with his family on the ranch and in the friendship he has developed with Nick over more than a decade. He is so afraid that his feelings would scare Nick away that when Nick comes forth with strong declarations of a future together, Cash hesitates. Nick doesn’t take his hesitation as a bad thing and finds himself dedicated to proving how good they could be together. Nick has returned to the ranch to heal not just physically but mentally as well and decide what his future holds. The only thing he knows for certain is that Cash is his past, present and future.

“Seeing those clothes in the suitcase this morning was the epiphany I needed. You wanted me to be sure, and the evidence was right there in front of me. No what-ifs or maybes. I’ve been yours since we met.”

This addition to the series made me so very happy. Cash and Nick have so many levels to their intimacy that shines brightly in their interactions in and out of the bedroom. I love that they have this established friendship that builds into more. I appreciated that their relationship was relatively low angst and although not perfect, we didn’t get unnecessary conflict. The found family at the ranch want nothing more than to see their boss happy and welcome Nick with open arms. The continued strife with the religious cult hits its boiling point with the ranch and its workers not coming out unscathed. We have two pending books hinted at and I just can’t wait to see more MCs get their HEA.

4.5 stars for Cash and Nick allowing themselves to bask in their happily ever after.

Okay first, I adore this series. Like seriously am head over heels for it. So when I heard Cash was getting a book, you can believe I was excited. A lot of best friends to lovers hit my feels but have way too much "do they/don't they" angst for me. It was such a relief to not endure that here. Yes, there was still tension and uncertainty, but the pay-off wasn't held hostage from the reader until the very end and for that, I am so grateful.
Add into that an amazing background plot with twists I somehow didn't see coming and I couldn't help but be hooked. I read this all in one day and know that it will join the rest of the series in my frequent re-reads list.
The tease of Rue and Seth was *chef's kiss* and I can't wait for Own and Tyler to get their mess settled. As for Keegan...I really hope we get a book for him as well.
